Mark Pace truly has a Bicycle Heaven.I bought a TridentTrikes Spike 380 Tadpole style Recumbent from him. He'd custom laced the Enviolo hub on a better than stock wheel. He put an Efneo GTRO Gearbox in for the crankset replacement. With no derailleurs, I have a chain line with single cogs on the front and back. No thrown chains, cross chaining or jammed gears etc, it's all internal gearing.My selection of shifting methods was seen to, ring twist on the Envolio 380 and click buttons on the Efneo. Crank length as I prefer it at 170 mm.All in all, he took the excellent entry level Tadpole and made me a wonderful starter Trike. Even with the customizations, I have quality at a much lower price than some other brands would cost.Three cheers for Pace Bicycle Heaven.

Mark (the owner) is very knowledgeable about bicycles of all types vintage and current trends and an expert bicycle mechanic. Prices are very fair and service is very friendly. The best home town bicycle shop in Independence Missouri just off the square.

Mark really knows his stuff. He can see what needs to be done and with precision make the bike even better than it was new. He is always looking for how to improve your riding experience. He is responsive, always takes the time to talk with you and I feel reasonably priced for the value he provides. He also has some amazing bikes he buys and then enhances.

What's even more impressive about Mark Pace's shop is that he isn't pretending to know / isn't hoping to know / isn't claiming to know. It's that he does KNOW an uncanny volume of super practical particulars about what it takes to make a customer and their bike happy. As someone said earlier, this is a REAL bike shop ! !
