Small shop but full of interesting knick knacks. They also have a good selection of candy bars. Not handicap accessible. The aisles are too narrow and cluttered. A walker can get through most areas but might be difficult. The staff is friendly and willing to help.

MY FAVORITE STORE ON THE SQUARE!! We like to check in here periodically for the unique gifts and imported sweets. Stopped in for stocking stuffers and was not disappointed. There's a used book section in the back that always has a book or two I never knew I needed. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

I was very disappoint in the lack of customer service. While there I overheard the shop keepers comments on "dumb-ass teachers". He asked if I was offended and when I said I was he said I must be one of them. I will never shop in that hate filled environment again.

A lot of the square was closed July 3rd, so very happy to be able to stop into this place. Having said that, a good portion of the items were just assorted resale like a thrift shop and that was a bit of a let down.A chocolate bar will run you $11! However, the woman working was delightful!

I've been coming here for years to pick up Norwegian or Swedish items. I was VERY disappointed today in lack of Norwegian items! Today being the Norwegian Constitution day, Syttende de Mai, I thought there be something celebratory happening. The clerk had no idea. A nice young man, but he hadn't a clue.

This store is a treasured jewel on the Independence Square. There are many unique little gift items that you won't find elsewhere. Especially if you are looking for Norwegian or Scandinavian items. A visit to this store is at least an annual stop for Christmas shopping. My favorite items are the Norway calendar, the little hand-made votive candles, and the many unique baking items. They even have a small fridge with Nordic cheese and specialty items that are hard to find, and seasonal Lefse. You need to go early for the Lefse because they sell out fast before the holidays. This is truly a wonderful place to gift shop. My only problem is I want it all for myself!

Fun place to explore, whether you have ties to Scandinavia or not
