All I needed was my 5gals of paint tinted a little darker and they wouldn't do it. Lol lol and then they overcharged Me by $200 on my purchases and didn't know how to give me the money back so now I have to go back tomorrow and hope to God that I can get my money back messed up I won't be going there ever again

My contractor told me he needed 2 more gallons of paint 10 minutes before this store closed today. My husband spoke to Andrew and explained our predicament. Andrew agreed to wait for him to arrive even though it would be after the store closed. Thank you so much Andrew! Because you stayed, you shaved a full day of delay off of our project. We are grateful for your dedication to your customers!

The ladies are always pleasant. Been in a few times and the ladies are always helpful and knowledgeable. Not sure how they manage being understaffed but they try. The manager got us in and out and we were happy.

We came in to get a 5 gallon bucket of an oil based paint. The woman, who is also the manager, mixed it and the tint machine ran out of tint, so she had to mix it by hand. She did not test the paint before giving it to us, we just took her word that she was professional and knew what she was doing. When we got to the job site to paint, we saw that the paint was green instead of brown. We took it back, and this same woman spent thirty minutes deflecting blame and refusing to accept that she did the mixing wrong. Finally, she just made a new 5 gallon bucket after telling us it would "come out green again" and lo and behold, it came out the perfect tint of brown. Do not use this Sherwin Williams, this woman will make your entire experience terrible from beginning to end, and will refuse to own up to her mistakes.

They don't respect the schedule, I was waiting for half an hour and they never opened, when they supposedly open on Saturdays at 8, don't put a schedule if you are not going to comply

Placed an online order. It wasn’t fulfilled until I called a day later to inquire about not getting the pickup email. I get it, it happens. But the paint I picked up had little bits of dried white paint in it. Guess I should have asked to open it since the lid was slightly rusty. After the first coat I had to sand and strain out the chunks before the second coat. Some bits are stuck in the dried final coat tho. Ruined the finish, expected better from SW

Manager at this store has the worst attitude. She doesn't let you (as a customer - we pay your salary! -) use the bathroom anymore. There are silly signs all over the place like don't use your phone to place order.

Employees here were very unhelpful and unwilling to tint without a receipt of purchase from Sherwin Williams. You are way better off going to the Sherwin-Williams store on 63rd. The service there is wonderful and they were more than happy to help me get my paint tinted.

I don't believe in the supposed *perfect 10* rating, so I gave my recent experience at my local Sherwin-Williams paint store in Independence MO a "9" rating. The store's staff that I dealt with, both by phone and in the store, were professional, knew their product, and fulfilled my 10 gallon Emerald Satin-Finish exterior paint order without an issue. When I returned to the store for my ready order, they promptly loaded the 10 individual gallons in my Toyota RAV4 crossover. I certainly can't ask for more than that from a brick-and-mortar store transaction.Note: I used Sherman-Williams Emerald Satin-Finish Exterior because of Consumer Reports very recent high rating (they always put all tested paints though its full paces over an accelerated time frame). While it was by far the most expensive per gallon--even on sale!--of CR's three top-rated exterior paints, the Emerald Satin-Finish also came recommended by several different (unknown to each other) professional house painters of my acquaintance. That finally sealed the deal for me. The true test will be, of course, if your Emerald paint lasts as long as my previous exterior satin-latex--13 years! My new paint job has just been completed and the clock is now running...
