EDIT: DEI rollback means you’ve lost my household’s money. Spineless.
Self checkout is tiny and not enough registers, store has necessities locked up, not stocked, bad lighting. I can’t believe I’m choosing Walmart, where I haven’t shopped in years, over target. Hire security. Do something better. Locking products up and having to wait to have someone unlock them…there goes my “browsing” or fun target time. No point in shopping around and reading labels. Not worth it.

I'm supporting companies that stood proud and kept their DEI program. Costco is my place now and I'm grateful I can support them with my former Target money. Costco kept DEI.

This Target is a solid choice for everyday shopping. This Target usually has what I need and is decently clean and safe. That said, I generally prefer Blue Springs, Liberty, or Lees Summit for their size, selection, cleanliness, and safety as well. Still, it’s convenient for browsing, purchasing home essentials, and completing a pickup order.

The associates have horrible customer service skills. Each time you ask a worker a question, they act as if you are bothering them and never give a clear answer.

Two issues. In store pickup CSR prioritized loading a cart with several cases of water rather than securing order for the only person waiting. The item was bagged and determined to have several dents upon unpackaging at home! The dents were readily visible and the product should not have been selected for pickup, I recommend avoiding this store if ordering on line! The online replacement experience however was perfect.

they have the WHOLE electronics section locked up- i had to wait around like 10-15 minutes for an employee to get me a five dollar case for my airpods- i went around to the tech desk and nobody was there :( when i went to check out they had the self check out closed (it was open earlier) and they only had ONE register open, which obviously made the line pretty long- it wasnt that late at all so idk why they had basically shut down the whole place

Can never get any help. They never have people working. Everything is locked up and no one comes to help. You’ll be waiting for 30+ min

This target is just not good. Dirty/messy/things aren’t stocked or put away right etc. Hoping it levels up in the future because it’s close and I usually enjoy target runs. Make the trip and go to the blue springs location.

Ever my time I go in, I’m waiting around longer than 10 minutes for someone to unlock the clear glass to get formula. It’s sad. I understand theft. But there has to be a better solution to this issue

If you want a depressing, understocked, and bleak selection, this is the Target location for you! If you enjoy waiting in line at the only functioning manned checkout while all the self checkouts are closed on a Friday evening, THIS is the Target for you!

It’s a great target except that they frequently have the self-checkout lanes shut down and one register open with an employee that’s about 10 people deep. I get it that retail doesn’t hire human beings anymore but at least keep self checkout open. The employees who are there are always nice and helpful.

My nephew died at Target in March 2 wks before his wedding. An off-duty firefighter gave valiant effort, but no one offered him a defibrillator. I am having a huge
amount of a sense of loss & darkness.

Why do y'all lock up $5 lotions and then not have anyone available to come unlock them? I can guarantee this isn't preventing theft. As I was checking out the employee at the register was having a conversation with another employee about people that just walked out - stealing hand bags and clothes. As far as the lotions and cosmetic products... The fact that half the inventory (the same products/brands) is locked up but half isn't lets me know it's not actually about theft. I'll drive a few more blocks down the road and spend $3 more per product at Ulta.

You guys go through the effort of setting up a large self checkout area and close most of your attended registers. Then you decide to close the entire self checkout area and open one register for the entire store on a regular basis. Big brain management move.
Also if you’re going to lock up items such as baby formula, maybe don’t take 20 minutes to send someone to unlock the case only for that person to just hand us the item and trust that we pay for it.

Normally, I love this site. However, now with all their products locked up and no one to open them I'm beyond frustrated. The devices to notify people you need help obviously don't work, or the notifications are being ignored altogether. Keep the locked up merchandise I'm willing to pay. I'll go to Ulta.
