This is our favorite place to go for all our home improvement needs. If you have not been to visit their Jackson and Perryville locations, make it a priority!

Staff is very helpful. Prices are a little more, but usually, what you're looking for is there. Home town feel.

Clean store, free popcorn and friendly smiles. Staff here will drop what they're doing and help a person. Place needs more parking is the only problem that I encountered.

Even though I don't live anywhere near Ken's Ace Hardware, I would drive out of my way to shop there. There are just subtle positive things happening there that set it apart from competing stores/companies. In this day and age, it's little things like this that make a difference.Things like spot-on accuracy from the Internet inventory to walking in and they actually have the product in stock. I can't tell how many times in the Cape/Jackson area alone, that has been the opposite experience when shopping for that specific item.Cleanliness and organization. Zero trash, ZERO, from the far end of the parking lot to the last aisle in the store. There's even free popcorn machine at the entrance even! And I actively saw an associate sweeping the aisles as I shopped. Nothing felt overstocked or cluttered. Even if I didn't have the friendly assistance as soon I stepped into the entrance, I think I could've easily found what I was there for.Speaking of which, from a customer perspective, it was nice to see a store fully staffed for a change. Greeted at the entrance, halfway in, in the back, up front again, reminded me of when Best Buy would overstaff their stores in the beginning. It was nice. I utilized the help offered, I don't like walking around impulse buying things I think I might need. But to my intoxication of these sorely missed subtle details of other stores, I found myself wanting to see what's around the next aisle, then all the aisles. Yes, I went in for 1 item and came out with 3. They got me. And I liked it.I don't know what they are doing right or what habits/ routines they have in place to run that store, but for the love of God don't change it. I will come back. I will spend more money. Especially so, if I keep getting the same experience.
