What a wonderful find for our stay in the Jamesport, Missouri area. We spent two nights here and we had such a relaxing time each evening after exploring the countryside. The host is exceptional. Our room was clean and just about anything you might need was provided in the room. A large bowl of juice, fruit, crackers, and cheese was in the refrigerator on our arrival and it was very tasty. The beach themed decor of our room was delightful and it seemed my eyes were always catching new details throughout our stay.We chose a room without much wood detail, my wife is very sensitive to environmental odors and chemicals. The room was very compatible with my wife's issues. All the cleaning products and toiletries were also very much NON-triggering for my wife's sensitivities. This is a very nice touch.Thank-you Marie for a great time and a great place to stay away from the big city.

It can be very difficult finding nice clean accommodations in rural small town America. This place hit 5 stars on all the important notes. It was clean, had plenty of space, and the welcome basket was a very nice and thoughtful touch. I should also mention, lots of off street parking as well. The bathrooms had disposable tooth brushes, razors, and many other necessary toiletries provided which was greatly appreciated.I would certainly recommend this place for families or even someone that just wants a quiet getaway.

The cold of early January in northern Missouri may be a slap of reality to most of us now, but the other reality of cozy down-home warmth, is a stay at the Arbor House Country Inn in Jamesport, Missouri. Nestled in the rolling hollows of this area kissed by God, the charm of this village, and it’s inhabitants, is only made better by its’ hospitality… Your stay begins with a welcome basket of fresh fruit, and the native Amish cinnamon rolls which are a delight to the senses. The rooms are big and comfortable, with a throwback style to the turn of the 19th century, without sacrificing the electronic modern conveniences, and entertainment options we all can’t live without these days… The town itself is a walk back in time where your vehicle shares the cobbled roads with horse-drawn buggies with the Amish folk attending to their daily routines of life, lived outside the hustle and bustle of our more hurried ones. The Inn utilizes these Amish talents with the fine furniture that you have the privilege to lay in, and dine at. And everywhere inside,...the walls are adorned with sayings and lessons in beautiful artwork that speak to the wonderful nature of this part of the world, where a person can really appreciate these peoples’ respect for nature, and the folks who have the blessing of living there…or just briefly passing through. So go to the Arbor House Country Inn, in Jamesport, Missouri and get a real appreciation for life, and the rest of your life as yet still undiscovered.

Have lost track of number of years I have stayed. It's a fall excursion I always look forward to... gets us in mood for holidays. Marie is so hospitable, the inn is cute and comfortable, and her baskets are delicious. Amish cinnamon rolls are killer. A stay has become tradition look forward to each year along with exploring Jamesport area. Highly recommend!
