“We identified an off-brand dryer on the Metro website we wanted and called the store to ensure it was in stock and to ask about the installation and haul-away fees. Although that machine was not in stock, Jack, our salesperson, offered us a slightly less expensive brand name dryer which they had just received in stock that day. I've never experienced a bait-and-switch where the replacement option is actually a better deal! We went to the store to look at the appliance and talk to Jack, and ended up spending $50 less than we would have if we had bought the machine online, because Jack identified options we didn't need. The cost beat the President's Day sales at other stores by over $100 because Metro offers free local delivery and doesn't require that buyers purchase a full set of installation parts, such as a new vent-we only had to buy a new electrical cord, which was about half the cost of the ones at the big box stores. Everybody we talked to at the store was very kind, and nobody wasted our time trying to sell us a more expensive machine or a package. After our purchase was completed, we spent about 30 minutes exploring their refrigerator options, because that's the next appliance we think we will need to replace, and we were thoroughly impressed with the variety. The dryer was delivered and installed at 8 am the following day, and it's been a workhorse. We had been told by family and friends that Metro is hands down the best option for appliances in our area, and I came here to say that I agree completely.”
