I met the Manager there and he was so Helpful. i was having issues everywhere else i went and He made sure i was taken care of and left with a rental. i really appreciate everything he did

The girl at the front desk is incredibly rude. Almost signed me up for rental with out full coverage which is required that I did not have and did not know I needed till the end of the process. Which took even more time as my grandparents sat outside in the van. She never even stood up out of her seat to show me the vehicle there wasn’t a check list for the vehicle or demonstration nothing at all. I take the keys and figure it out myself since they’re so busy with me being the only customer they had at the moment. A nail flattened the tire on rental and I was held responsible for fixing it regardless of the fact that I had hertz full coverage insurance on it since it covers everything”except for tires”….so I spend $180 on a new tire on a rental that I have because someone else hit me. I give it a $10 car wash wipe down and vacuum before I return it. I filled the gas tank to where I thought it was 25 days ago when I picked it up. I take it back and just got told that I don’t get my full $75 deposit back bc I didn’t fill the tank up all the way….its been nothing but a greedy headache from hertz and I hope I never have to rent a car thru them again. Awful experience that girl should be fired.

This place is one of the worst places ever never get a car from them. They do some shady things. This location not only makes up their own police’s but they supper rude to customers. I was charged an extra 10 dollars to add someone else to drive the car. Then when someone calmly explains something they cut you off and talk over you. It gets very frustrating I wonder how this place is still in business they do some shady things if I could give them a zero stars I would.

Last week I had to rent a Toyota Camry, I was in and out pretty quick very helpful. Very reliable, I dropped the car off there was no hassle I would say probably one of the best car rental places that I've ever experienced throughout the US.

I cant say how great it was dealing with the manager at this place. He was very polite. Once our insurance gave him what he needed, we were on the road less than 10 minutes. The car was brand new and very clean!

If you have to rent from here, prepare for every hassle and made up policy possible. If you can, change your reservation. This is true for the Joplin Airport Hertz as well, it's the same franchise.
TL:DR this Hertz is rude, overcharges you and has made up policies inconsistent with Hertz.
Jasmine is hands down the rudest customer service person I have ever interacted with at any retail establishment. From the beginning she was not interested in helping find a solution, only in being right and trying to prove how right she was.
Their policies are the most bizzare requirements anywhere. And, you never know that until you get there.
1. You have to have 2 photo IDs. Jasmine suggested I would have two driver's licenses which is illegal. So to rent a car, you have to carry a passport.
2. You have to have a bill from somwhere that matches the address on your driver's license. So if you are travelling to Joplin, bring your cable bill and your passport!
Their own policy sheet only requires 2 of about 4 choices - but not if Jasmine checks you out!
You aren't allowed to drop their cars at other Hertz locations, even if your agreement with Hertz allows it. They will try to charge you $1500 if you do. That's not a typo. You aren't allowed to have a second driver, even though Hertz programs allow it for certain agreements and loyalty levels.
When you drop it off, beware and check your bill. I reserved the car for $31.98/day. They charged me $52/day. That's 62% higher. They claim that's how the reservation came through and they didn't change it. But I have the confirmed reservation at the lower rate.
