Good place to get some clothing and home goods

This store has a great variety of things to shop for, from candles to purses to pillows to exotic seasonings and kitchen gear. It's got a great selection of clothing in mens, women's, kids, and plus sizes, from intimate wear to hoodies. It's fun to just shop around and search for the perfect something. I shop here mostly for gifts and I always end up very pleased with my purchase. However, it's a very crowded store with narrow isles and sometimes the checkout line can be pretty long. So allow yourself plenty of time and patience to shop around, here.

Prices wasn't bad on somethings, some good deals and some deals not much of a deal at all. But the line that day was clear to the back of the store and only 2 cashiers. Manager was at the door saying welcome to everyone instead of opening a register. Stood in line for 45 mins before we could get checked out

Tired of always waiting for long periods of time in line because they rarely ever have more than two cashiers. This has happened the past 3-4 times I’ve come in. ? it’s ridiculous. I’m not the first to complain either. Get it together dude.

This store is a mess you can’t find anything. Everything is miss labeled and if you use there tags to find your size the garment is a different size this is everything in the store. So my family and I just left to go to a different store that is more organized and clean.

Only 3 cashiers (and one went to break during the time i was in line and was not replaced) on a Friday afternoon. Had to wait 20 minutes just to make a return. And the line continued to back up. Several workers came near the front and noticed the line but then walked away. Theres good deals but nothing is worth waiting almost half an hour to check out.

If I could give negative stars I WOULD!!!!!! I HAVE NEVER BEFORE IN MY LIFE FELT SO DISRESPECTED OR MADE TO FEEL LIKE I WAS TRASH BEFORE IN MY LIFE. The way that the employees immediately from the minute I walked in the store profiled me and the first thing I did when I went into the store was go to the bathroom where an employee followed me and my friend in the bathroom, did not use the restroom, just stood next to the stall I was using the restroom in waiting for me to finish then following us out after I sanitized my hands. Then proceeds to follow us isle to isle not even attempting to hide the fact that she was or practice any kind of Discretion . This went on the ENTIRE TIME I was in the store. The employee even went as far as taking pictures of me and my friend, It made my friend that came with me so completely uncomfortable and targeted that she went out to wait for me in the car where she didn’t feel like a criminal. The whole time I was in the store I was simply looking at the girls toys and taking some pictures to get an idea what to buy for my daughter’s birthday next month…but I promise you that I will not be buying anything from Ross for that occasion, or anything ever again in my life. At least not the Joplin location. The way your employee had zero respect for us nor our privacy was downright disgusting, offensive, and beyond unprofessional. I hope no one ever has to feel the way that we were made to feel in your store. We were profiled, disrespected, and criminalized. Shame on you! Shame on your employee!

I was going to buy a shirt and perfume. When I went to get into the line, it was way backed up streaming down an aisle and just 3 cashiers. I put my stuff back, left, and went to another store. I'm sorry, but I honestly don't have time to wait 30 minutes in a checkout. The prices are great but when you have to wait so long that you decide to leave rather than wait so long it's moot.

I lost my car keys in the store and the manger was absolutely no help was absolutely rude even other staff said they don’t like her and she’s just like that I asked to speak to someone higher up for camera footage since I lost my keys reasonable right no they’re not allowed the manager told me the phone number to call higher up she answers the phone in front of my face and says no I can’t connect you he’s not in the store and said her employees weren’t allowed to help another customer because they’re on her time not mine she also wouldn’t explain why I couldn’t see camera footage said I needed to file a police report still stuck in their parking lot typing this

I used to go there all the time but it now takes way too long to check out. The shelves are disheveled and on the weekends forget it. Early, during the week is better.

I bought a size smaller of these yesterday. According to the cashier, the price written on the bottom of those shoes was $20.00. The price is that silver marker that is not legible on this pair or the other pair that I exchanged. I was charged more than what the cashier priced these shoes as which was $20.00. See receipt for the "vector quiet" price of $24.99.Also, when I first went to just return the wrong size shoes that I purchased yesterday, I was told I would not be able to because I didn't have the shoe price tag. I did not remove the shoe price tag. Since I did not have the shoe price tag, the cashier said I could not return them because the $20.00 price written on the bottom of the shoe in silver did not match what was on the receipt. I commented/questioned that I didn't pay the right price for them yesterday to which there was no response from the cashier. My fiancé and I found the same shoes in different sizes in this store and took them to the front. He pointed out to loss prevention that the price tags are put under the security tags. Which makes it seem like the cashier could have easily removed the price tag when she removed the security tag yesterday. Loss prevention stated the stock people place the price tags under the security tags and that the cashiers put the shoe price tag in the shoe when they are cashing customers out. I believe the cashier did not put the price tag in the shoe which is why I did not have it when I went to first just return them.At the end, I did not just return the shoes, I exchanged them for a size bigger. Still for the price of $24.99 which is different from what the cashier said of $20.00.So my suggestions: find a different placement for the price tag, make sure the price on the bottom matches the price tag, and please don't be distracted that you forgot to place the shoe price tag in the shoe.If there is a video of the cashier placing the price tag in the shoe yesterday, I would be happy to apologize for thinking and typing here that I believe the cashier made the mistake of not giving the price tag in the shoe.I like the Ross stores. This experience was just annoying for me. So this rating is based solely on this one time.

Used to enjoy shopping here, during my last visit the store was a huge mess. Merchandise on the floor, draped across shelving, things not in the right department. I don't really plan to go back again.
