This Sams store is so nice. When we are in Joplin we will stop to see if they carry something we don't have at our stores. I've noticed that there beer section is always cheaper so I will usally stock up on my Heinekens from here. They always have a great meat selection as well. The store is always packed so we tend to try to come on a weekday.

The very worst customer service I have experienced. I would not suggest ordering online unless you want to receive the wrong item or for them to mark it as delivered and you never receive it at all. I have been on the phone for over an hour trying to get help receiving a credit I was promised- and they keep referring back to the first time they messed up my order and I received a credit for the inconvenience. The supervisor refused to do anything to make up for their mistake even though it was promised by another representative. I have spent a LOT of money, but $30 in credit is an inconvenience.

Went on Sunday and needed help getting heavy box in my vehicle,a young man named Lonnie is the sweetest guy and so very helpful. Lonnie had a conversation with me on the way to my car about the heat and his future plans.Young guy actually talking to a “older lady” lol. Before I was out of the lot there was an older lady struggling to get her things in her car.Lonnie didn’t see me leaving but I watched him spring into action and came to her aid,loaded all her things in her car. Sam’s Club,thats a great young man and needs to be recognized for outstanding service. He goes above and beyond! His momma raised him right and should be so proud.

Employees are too pushy about upgrading memberships. The last five times I have come into the club I have been not listened to, talked aver and I would say harassed about upgrading. Each time I left feeling unheard and disrespected. I love your products but I don't at all love your employees. I don't plan to come back.

We've been shopping at Sam's in Joplin several years now and for the most part we have had a good experience. However today I was extremely pleased with the customer service manager Crystal. She exchanged a pressure washer I purchased a year ago May 2020! The best part is she didn't have too but she did. Now it's time to go back to work. THANK YOU CRYSTAL!!!!

We seem to always have a horrible experience at this location. We normally go to the club in Bentonville but go to the Joplin club occasionally since we go to Joplin often. The produce is often fresh and several items on the shelf are beyond the expiration date. You are interrogated at the door like a criminal. They ask for ID and membership card which I've never seen done at any other club. This last experience was beyond horrible. We had a return and my wife went to the front desk and they won't take the return, as I had iven here the wrong receipt. Then she went back up to the desk, waiting in line forever again and was treated like a thief. They wouldn't take the return without the physical membership card and a driver's license. So, she had to go get me and then I had to stand in line and wait again to get the return processed. Keep in mind that we return very few things at Sam's and spend thousands of dollars a year there. There is no reason whatsoever to be treated this way. And we didn't even want our money back....it was an even exchange for an item that was defective. I only wish that Costco was nearby because I'd drop this membership in a heartbeat.

I enjoy shopping at Sam's Club although the lack of product at times especially in their premade salads and deli area becomes quite frustrating especially if that's what you're going to do say stop off and pick up their chicken salad and when you get there there's no chicken salad it's all gone.
