I purchased my iPhone 16 Pro at the Plaza Apple Store. Although the phone generally works pretty well, it does have difficulty keeping a Bluetooth connection. I spend a lot of time listening to music and podcast in my car and on speakers, so this is a real issue for me. I did some online research and saw that this has been an issue for other iPhone 16 pro owners, as well. So, I went to the Apple store where I purchased my phone to get some help.
None was forthcoming. The Apple technician first refused to accept that there was a reported issue with the phone’s Bluetooth connection. According to him, Apple did not agree that there was an issue, so he refused to look at the other, non-Apple sources I had found. He connected my phone to a set of headphones for a couple minutes, declared that he didn’t hear the signal drop, so he refused to believe my report that the phone had trouble staying connected to Bluetooth. No further help was offered.
The interesting thing is that, unlike other trips to the Apple store where I did get some help, I never received a survey request from Apple. I remembered that the same was true on another occasion where the technician was not able to help me. This suggests that Apple technicians will only send a survey request when they know that a sale has been made or a problem solved. On those occasions where they cannot provide a fix? No survey. That really calls into question the accuracy of the survey responses that Apple collects.
Time to start researching the best non-Apple products out there for my next phone…

Apple is a joke. We are in the year 2025 and I have been without my phone for 2 weeks. 30 days after having the iPhone 17 it started smoking while charging. I went to an authorized dealer of Apple, Best Buy after 7 hours at Verizon. No joke. 7 hours. Was I given a new phone, no. They said they had to send it in and see if it was repairable. Quoted me 3-5 days which is still insane and it has been 2 weeks. No follow up, even went back to Best Buy to ask where my phone is and was told nothing that it was being repaired. As if I want a fried iPhone back. I’ve still had no updates or potential estimate on when I am getting my phone back. Going through Apple support online or calling is a total scam and total waste of time. Save yourself the waste of time and don’t even try that route. The details of that situation would take a year to explain but just know the process is literally a total scam. This coming from o end the biggest and wealthiest companies of our time and they don’t even have a process in place for phone repairs. It should be seamless and easy and it is not. The fact that we all stand for this and continue on with Apple as little sheeples is exactly why they can do this. Zero answers and they should be ashamed of themselves . A kindergartener could create a better website and process of repairs then what they have in place. My phone , like most is my lifeline and used for work. I have missed out on numerous calls and sales which equals money. Apple will make you crazy, and feel helpless. They own us and they know it. How is it that they don’t have customer service reps to answer their phone calls?? How??? Apple is JOKE. Laughable.

David there was rude, especially as a manager. He could have treated me with kindness and respect but instead he was pompous and clearly didn’t care to show me more products that I was interested in purchasing. The other gentleman was nice, but I clearly felt that my four figure purchase didn’t matter in any way to at least David

Went in to get my AirPods looked at since one stopped connecting only to be told that my case was “dead dead” and would have to be replaced so I should just spend $250 and buy the newest model. The case and both AirPods still charge and connect and do everything they are supposed to except the one not connecting. Very frustrated that I don’t get any actual help and will definitely be switching to anything other than Apple for the next pair of headphones in get.

We bought an Apple Watch. It was not available in the Shop. The salesperson asked if they could ship it. We said it’s ok. What they did not tell us: they shipped it without any insurance! Nobody had to sign for receiving the package. And what happened? Two days later we found the package in front of the door. There was only the wristband in it, the watch was stolen. UPS said: we delivered. Apple said: UPS delivered. So nobody is responsible for that- and we lost over 300€. Usually you have to sign for a wristband, less vaikunle. and they sent the watch without insurance… I never thought they will act like this! If the salesperson had told us this i had not bought the watch! I never thought Apple wouldnt care fort their customers.

Store closes at 7 but won’t let anyone in after 615. I can walk into a restaurant 15 min before closing and still be served but no, no. Not here, at the mighty Apple Store. Here, you just get sent away. I guess, call before you come to make sure you’re not going to be turned away before “close”.
