The best! Have to try the stuffed french toas and they also started doing live music on some nights!

We visited on Sunday morning a little past 10pm. We were greated and seated right away. The server was prompt and took our order shortly after. I ordered Chilaquiles ($18) but, I didn't order w/Steak ($9) but overall it was warm and delicious.

Enjoyed the restaurant! I have never been there and now I plan to return! The service was good , Connor was very attentive to my friends and I ! The food actually looked just like the picture on their website! That was a plus for me! Nice seating inside, even though we made reservations online, we picked a good time so not to busy! It got busy as we left though. As far as parking, there is a parking lot to the side of the building although it is a pay lot, parking on the street is first come first serve. But I found nothing wrong with the Blvd Tavern and looking forward to the time I can go back!

Food is overpriced and not good. Grilled. chicken came out charred and burnt. The burger was very salty. The French toast was like eating a birthday cake. Entree salad was the size of a side salad. Highlight of the meal was the orange cinnamon roll.

I've now been several times because every time has been amazing food, drinks & service. We've tried so many of the menu items and they're all amazing especially the nachos, burger and Cajun pasta. The Camporita cocktail is unbelievable too. Also, every time we've been there the owner has personally come to our table to say hello and check on our experience. Highly recommend for both food and drinks!

New favourite place to go for breakfast / brunch when we are in KC. Upscale, homestyle food, good selection of options. Cinnamon rolls are great. Decent mimosas. Have never had to wait to get a seat.Parking: No dedicated lot, we usually have to find an open spot on the street. Sometimes have to walk a few blocks to get there. Not horrible though.

Owner is unreasonable. Towed my car without knowing if I had dined in the restaurant or not. Refused to call me back to talk through the issue. Food is basic, owner should be referred to the BBB. Seems like this is a recuring problem for owner, his MO is to respond to the reviews posing like he cares and makes you provide proof that you dined, all after he continues to put customers through the stress of getting towed.

My first experience at Blvd Tavern was eating in the restaurant and the food and service was great. However, this time we order carryout and it was the worst. I ordered the french dip and a side salad. Now why on earth would anyone but salad and a hot sandwich in the same box. The salad was completely wilted from the heat of the sandwich. On top of that the dressing cup wasn’t closed properly so the bottom bread of the sandwich was so soggy I had to scrap it off and throw it and the salad away. I didn’t get a pic of that. I did however get a picture of the pretzel my girlfriend ordered. It was $16 and a mall pretzel tastes better. On top of that it was very deceiving based on the menu description and the large pizza box that put a pretzel that’s barely larger than my hand in. I wish I was with her when she picked up the food because I would never taken it because it was way below standards I hold for any restaurant. My advice would be to make sure you check your order prior to leaving. We never order a togo order again since the quality isn’t the same as in restaurant

First time eating here. The fried mushroom appetizer was incredible, as was the shrimp grits and the French dip.

The staff were so welcoming and the vibes were very high. Such a nice local KC restaurant and bar. The bottomless mimosas and bloody Mary’s were fantastic and I wanted to bathe in the beer cheese sauce for the pretzel. Will be going back ASAP.

Let me start by saying we used to go there a lot. The ownership changed and quality went downhill badly. So we haven't been there for a couple years. We went tonight based on the reviews being much better Sure enough, the food and service was great. Just like the old days. We were told they had changed hands recently. So dinner is over, we have paid the check all is well. We spoke to manager complemented them on how nice the evening was and said we would be back soon. Just didn't think this soon.We parked in a lot across the street in the spot for BOULEVARD TAVERN PARKING ONLY. We go out, the car is gone. Apparently stolen. After a minute or two, a tow truck pulls up. I informed him my car was gone. He said he towed it at the direction of the Boulevard Tavern manager (Blake I think). I stormed inside and told the manager what he had done. He apologized all over himself and called an UBER for us to be taken to the tow lot. One we finally got there, we had to call some number to speak to the dispatcher who was snotty and hung up on me (granted I probably had it coming at that point). After ten minutes standing in the mud and the rain, the tow truck driver arrived with another car (Benz this time). He too apologized and pointed me out o my car and we drove off. While waiting in the rain I had to call the Boulevard manager to tell him the lot wouldn't give me the car and in five minutes I was going to call the police. He called the tow driver, who finally pulled up shortly thereafter. The manager wanted my email address (which I did not provide) and promised to call me the next day. I told him not to bother to try and offer me free meals or anything else because I WAS NEVER EVER going to Boulevard Tavern again. So there it is. Food and service was good. Experience terrible. Oh I forgot to add. Had tickets for a show that we missed so we are out that too. Take this as you will. After I wrote this, I see from other reviews that this is not an isolated incident. It has happened to others. The owner contacted me some days later and left his number so he could "make things right". While I had no intention of ever going back, I did call to give him a chance. True to form, he didn't answer and never responded to my message. So it seems pretty clear to me how they value their customers.Parking: Read my review

Such a fun and delicious place! Had the French dip. Husband had the burger. Soooo good! Can’t wait until the weather gets better to use the cute patio area again. We have been there for cocktails and for dinner on several occasions. The food is great! Servers are friendly and attentive! The owner stopped by to check on our meal. In addition to the patio outside there is a big back room perfect for private events. We enjoyed dinner there with a big group in December and everyone raved about the food and service! Can’t wait to go back and try their brunch!

Blvd tavern had delicious food, good cocktails, and a cool vibe. We had a larger party around the holidays and they took great care of us. Definitely would recommend!

Definitely my favorite spot in KC! Quality food, awesome portion sizes, great ambiance and atmosphere, and terrific staff. Also a great spot to catch a game or host a private event. My family has had get togethers of 12+ people and they are extremely accommodating. Can’t recommend BLVD Tavern enough!

This restaurant is notorious for towing customers cars. It’s crazy you’d be treated this way after giving them your money. They also charge ridiculous prices to get your car back, around $400 each. When I asked where my car was, some of the other workers were laughing, which really topped my night off. Then finding out that my car was ten minutes away in a muddy lot you can barely walk in whilst it’s raining was by far a fun experience.Just disgusting behavior… my friends and I will never be giving them a dime again.
