So many issues including receiving a car that died multiple times on the road. When i got to a safe destination called customer service. They could not access my reservation receipt number because it was missing a number (error from budget), finally got my car towed and was supposed to receive a new car but never happened. The towing company actually 3 way called budget with me to try and help but the customer agent did not sound like he understood complete english or was reading from a script. We ended up having to use uber the rest of the trip. I am sure not all Budgets are bad but do not use this one!!!

Drew was most patient and helpful with our extremely complicated and nuanced requests. We were not sure what we wanted and kept changing our minds. He remained calm and in good spirits until we were finally confident about our rental decision. Five stars! Thank you, Drew!

There was an issue with my vehicle that I didn’t discover until well into the rental. After reaching out when I got home, the issue was resolved quickly by Heather, the manager.PSA- most rental places don’t have the fact car you rented. Just prepare yourself emotionally for that.

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!! The only options I was given for cars (and I had reserved a mid-size car months in advance) were a Tesla or a Ford Mustang. Since I had never driven a Tesla I chose the Ford. After driving to Lake of the Ozarks which took three hours, my mom (aged 83) and I could barely get out of the bucket seats. The next day I contacted a Budget establishment in a city closer to where we were staying - only one hour drive - and asked if I could swap the car for something different. I was told yes and drove the hour to exchange the car, only to find out that Budget KC airport is PRIVATELY OWNED????? And the budget establishment I had driven to had no records of the cars that are rented from there. I was given an 800 number to figure out what to do was told I had to call the Budget KC airport directly. When I asked what the phone number was for the airport budget I was given the same 800 number!!!! And was told that was the only number Budget had. OMG. Never again will I use this rental agency.

I have to rent cars for work periodically. It's difficult when they never save my info on the system, so then it takes 10 mins longer than it should to get me a vehicle. The customer service isn't that great. No friendly greetings and lacking good customer service.

This has been the worst experience ever! I will NEVER use Budget moving forward. Budget should really consider not having a franchise location KANSAS CITY (part of the issue). They have given their name a bad reputation. I have personally waited for over a month on a fraudulent charge that they claim was refueling of the rented vehicle. I have provided a detailed copy of the receipt showing the refueling of the returned vehicle. I keep receiving the run around after speaking with several supervisors and managers. This has caused an extreme inconvenience as a customer.

RE: 119th Street location in Overland Park, KS, The rental car was dirty but otherwise okay. However, the catalytic converter was stolen from the car I left in the parking lot.

Give Drew a raise. Excellent customer service. He rectified my issue with the broken truck and made it his mission to get me compensated for the inconvenience. The world needs more people like Drew.

Terrible experience. I reserved a 7 passenger SUV and they offered me a pickup truck. I told them that was not acceptable so the best they could do was a 5 passenger SUV. I was desperate so I rented that. It was not full on gas that I noted on the vehicle inspection report. I brought it back with the same amount of gas they gave me. They charged me a fuel fee because of that. Avoid at all cost.

This was my first experience with a car rental place and I do not intend to return to this service. Not only was I not explicitly informed to bring my registered physical credit card in order to check out my reservation that I already paid for, but the ladies at the front desk gave me zero options after telling me I couldn't check out. I had to ask "so what can I do?" Basic customer service is redirecting customers to other options if you must say no and these workers clearly did not care. ON TOP OF THAT, customer service is making me wait 7-14 more days for my refund that's already 3 days late. First they tell me 7-10, then 3-5, then 7-10, then 7-14????? Absolutely the worst experience with a company I've ever had. If this is the most affordable option, it is NOT WORTH IT.

NIGHTMARE!!! BEWARE!! Took 30 minutes to get my car when I arrived and gave me complete opposite of what I reserved. Then the next day to get back to the airport the car wouldn’t start!! The thing only had 15k miles on it so clearly they don’t maintain their cars. Save yourself the trouble and rent elsewhere.

I made a reservation online and accidently clicked I would be returning the car to a different city. When I arrived in Kansas City I spoke with the woman at the front desk and we discovered my mistake, I said I will definitely be returning the car to the Kansas City Location and to please change any documents to reflect that. She said everything was changed and corrected and I would be charged the regular amount.Once the charge came through on my credit card it was TRIPLE the amount that is was supposed to be because the documents were never corrected!!! I tried to call them on several occasions with no communication. DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM THEM!!!
