Getting there was a little confusing, maps took us across the interstate and down the outer road then crossed back to come down a one way road to the hotel to find out it took us right past the street that goes in the back of the place. Not their problem, a mapping problem. It was a beautiful place, awesome indoor heated pool, very nice rooms. Place was clean. Staff were polite and respectful. Not a lot of parking for.the location but was good enough for our needs. I would return to this place and highly recommend it. We didn't get there until late, around 9 p.m. and left early the next day.Rooms: Rooms was clean. Beds made properly, tv with cable, cooktop, microwave, mini fridge, ice maker, coffee pot. Had emergency information including national weather service information on the wall by the TV easy to get to if needed. Plenty of lights available. Bathroom with beautiful tile, countertops, fancy mirror. Shower was quiet compared to other places I have stayed. Had a nice chair to sit in with a side table. Beds were really comfortable.Nearby activities: Kansas City Chiefs stadium, WW1 museum, Worlds of Fun, Oceans of Fun, and more.Safety: Two door locks on the room door, elevator had extra safety features in case of emergencies. Exterior doors locked. All doors except the main entrance required room key to gain access.Walkability: Restaurants right down the road within walking distance, amusement within walking distance, fuel and convenience within walking distance.Food & drinks: Several restaurants and a fuel station within walking distance. Taco Belle, Wendy's, Burger King.Noteworthy details: Highly Recommend!!

The hotel is clean, it in itself is similar to all hotels. It doesn't have a continental breakfast, but I stayed for almost 3 months worth of work trips because of the staff. Especially the women who work the front desk. All staff is exceptional and friendly and made it so wonderful everytime I came. I'd recommend to anyone because the details and help and making sure you're taken care of was priceless! Deeply grateful and will definitely go out of my way to visit again!

All the washing machines have been broken for over 2 months. Myself and nearly everyone I knew got a terrible cough staying here, I think that's why they're renovating. Only people who stayed on floor 4 didn't get a nasty cough. Sketchy area and all that comes with it. Plus was nobody's car was broken in to which seemed like a big risk in the area. It's not far from the city if you have a car. Most people staying are workers who have been booked here by their employer. It has security at night. Some appliances are broken even in renovated rooms. Unrenovated rooms have stains water damage etc. The cleaning staff is better than most IHG properties... Otherwise I would give this a one star.Nearby activities: Worlds of FunWalkability: Low.

I stayed here for a staycation and thought the service was great, cleanliness outstanding and even applied for a job so I could work for a place I could sell and stand behind.

The hotel rooms are pretty outdated. There was clear water damage on the floor(broken tiles and such) in the bathroom and the cover on the cushioned chair made the room feel dirty. The room was well equipped in the kitchen area and the shower, and we enjoyed having a/c control which was reliable. The staff were kind and the location was great for us. What keeps it at 5 stars rather than 4 despite the latter is that it was very affordable while not being sketchy or truly concerning. I probably will choose somewhere else in the future unless they give the rooms an update.

Nice size rooms that are up to date, staff is friendly and available at all hours, nice pool and hot tub. Can be on the pricey side compared to the other 5 hotels it is next to buy by far the nicest of them. If you are coming to town for World's of Fun it is an ideal location. Not to close to anything else But casinos. it's about 25 minutes to downtown and 30 mins from kci airport.

This place would definitely be a 5 star if it wasn't for the price and the fact they dont do breakfast. Cost me 230 dollars for 1 night and your telling me u dont serve breakfast?! Honestly feels like a scam to make it that much but its close to the park so thats probably but still no excuse for that price. Also shower was broken and was very short i was literally eye lvl with the shower head. And the saving grace of this place is that it has a full kitchen which is unique

Loud Music!! I booked my stay for 2 days. The first day I checked in around 7:00pm and there was already people outside in the back area with Bluetooth speakers blaring with loud music. I called the front seat around 9:30, she said that they should lower the music around 10:00pm. Well, 10:30pm came around and the music was at the same level. I called again and the employee went out and ask them to lower the music. The second day, the same crowd started their music at 4:30pm…….I called at 10pm and the front desk operator (different from the night before), hesitantly said she will go and ask them to lower the music. They eventually lowered it after 15mins. I started to wonder if this hotel is specifically designed for a party hub. Due to the fact that the crowd had blue tooth speakers that lit up. They had a microphone. They had large amounts of alcohol. Music as loud as they desired…..only thing missing was a disco ball. In general…….when most people are traveling, they rely on hotels for rest….peaceful rest. That is what you pay for. Travelers rise at early hours of the morning to start their journey again, how can you successfully do that without getting some sleep with loud music outside your window?? I give it 2 stars ONLY because the front desk employee on my first night was so sweet and welcoming.

The queen bed suite is probably the smallest candlewood room suite I have ever stayed in The bed was against the wall less than 6 inches I had to crawl into bed from the foot Since we have over 200000 points, we have seen quite a few rooms. The staff was nice but will not stay here again unless it's the only place we can find between little Rock and Minneapolis that accepts pets

THEY DO NOT HAVE BREAKFAST. Instead they have a nice little kitchenette in every room and some food you can buy in the lobby. Smoking rooms are available if you enjoy rolling over and lighting up a cowboy killer like me.

The rooms were actually really cute, and very comfortable. It would be nice to have access to condiments \\u0026 such, or coffee we could access ourselves in the lobby.

Very nice hotel. Front lobby floor was under construction/new tile installed, but it didn't impede our access. Front desk, Jackie, always had a smile. Room was really nice and spacious. I had a King Suite with Kitchen. Complete ... everything needed for long or short stays.

Great for extended stay or short term. Great added extras so you don't have to go out and find things you need. Pet and smoker friendly.
