My wife and I moved here in the summer of 2021 and since then the costs have increased but the quality of life within this complex has significantly decreased due to the management here. When we first moved in, about the amenities we were told that they are free to use for anyone here for any reason and if we wanted to use the club house after hours, we need to put a security deposit down, but it will get it returned if no damages happen. Regardless we continue to pay monthly amenities fees. None of which we have had an issue with as that is understandable. Currently that is not the case, we must pay to use the amenities if we want to have friends over even during business hours and the money does not get returned. Additionally, when we have used the club house during business hours some of the amenities were broken and we were told they were broken for months and haven’t been fixed. Yet we were paying the full amenity fee and if we wanted to reserve the club house, we would need to have paid full price as well despite everything not being functional. The company that currently owns the property has continued to find any way to increase their income at the cost of what I view as reducing the qualities that originally drew residents to this location. Management is constantly changing control in the complex and every rotation gets worse and worse. It is my recommendation that if you are considering moving here you reconsider and if you currently live here not renewing your lease and finding a location that values its residents equal to its value of its income.

Management is a joke, property management goes off of pure emotion instead of logic and its always rage and anger. Moved here from Minnesota bav in June and at the time the staff and old property manager were all amazing, super nice, then they vanished for lord knows what reason with the most rude property manager you could possibly have, that treats the other employees like complete garbage and is beyond unprofessional. Have had constant issues with a neighbor because we apparently stomp and are so loud she cant listen to her tv, our cats trigger her into a rage from just running as cats do. People here forget they live in an apartment and will send sound complaints constantly being petty about it. We have had to call the cops from her coming to our door hostile and insulting us multiple ways not once but twice but nope property manager is supposed to handle it and we are told by law enforcement to avoid the neighbor at all costs. Anything we do to resolve the issue gets thrown in our face that we're the problem. No type of communication is well handled and we get told one thing then another completely opposite. You get harassed in your own apartment and they don't give a flying f about it(supposed to sit back and get terrorized and harassed in a place youre supposed to call home, no complaining aloud for that shame shame), tenant bill of rights, right out the door. Threatened with eviction, given 1 day to decide if we are going to break our lease and not have a penalty fee but have to be out by the end of the month, less than a month to find a place and do that whole process., chased out of your apartment because you feel hopeless. I type all of this still living here but in the process of going to a different unit, so I'm more than likely ruffling more feathers but I have never been so let down and disappointed by people and to think I was so excited to move here. People just need to be better and actually nice to each other, wild concept in this world.

I lived here in 2020, and due to Covid and needing to move for a job, I had to pay some pretty big fees to get out of the lease early, on top of that, they tagged on a whole bunch of vacancy utility fees that wiped out my deposit and required an additional payment and a penalty for late payment on those fees I just saw for the first time. I asked for clarification on the penalty, never got a response, and then they sent it to collections instead of giving me any kind of answer. The location was nice, but the management was not good.

My opinion is that they vote Denise out of office because she has a very bad way of talking to the people who rent there, and threatens them, I was there and the air in my house was broken for a month and she told me that it was not a priority and I have two small babies, anyway, look for another place to rent, anyway, a beautiful facade and the treatment is terrible

Denise in the office was wonderful and accommodating for my move in. The community is clean and quiet. Great location.

The actual apartment is nice and I do like it.That being said, I've lived here less than a month and can't wait to move. Management is a joke. My entire move in process was a major dumpster fire, I wasn't even given the correct move in inspection sheets. I've placed maintenance orders but they are ignored and im told I didn't put in a maintenance request. I have a key fob that controls the pool and work out room that dosen't work and the manager always seems alone and fried when I go in there so no amenity for me I guess. Does anyone even work here? Not looking forward to my next 11 months.

Update: It has now been 43 days since I moved out of Andover Park Apartments. In the 3 years that I lived here, the fire sprinkler in my unit broke twice, flooding my dining room and ruining my area rug (management ignored my requests for reimbursement). The AC unit went out twice, once during the summer which caused me to be without AC for a week while the unit got replaced. The second time was during this past winter which caused me to be without heat for nearly 3 weeks while they worked to get the pretty much still new unit fixed. In both instances maintenance did bring temporary units for me to use but unfortunately, that meant that I had to have one window open 24/7. The refrigerator went out at least 3 times and the rodent issue was never resolved. In my final month here, I caught 5 mice (family perhaps?) in the unit and one outside of the unit.I am not sure how it was throughout the rest of the property but on the side that I stayed on (building 700); the amount of dog feces left by their owners was unreal. Emails were sent out by management, but I never noticed a change. It got to the point that we would not walk through the grass at night. The potholes caused by the winter storms could be considered car breakers in some instances. Those potholes would be left well into Spring/Summer. There was also no rhyme or reason to how mailboxes are assigned. My unit was at the back of the property (closest to Costco), but my mailbox was at the front. This was a minor inconvenience, but it was not the only one. There is only one trash receptacle for the entire property which forced most people to drive their trash to the bin.Since I was here for 3 years (7/2020-7/2023), I was able to witness the change of ownership and management. With new management we did see some improved communication, but we also saw changes in our monthly fees. When it came time to renew my lease with the new owners, my rent increased ~$300. The only update to the unit that had been done was an added fence to the patio that we were told would give us a private yard (seemed more like human size kennel in my opinion). My sewer bill went from $15-$20 to $100 at its peak. There was no change in my household but suddenly I was paying more with a subpar explanation. This was the same for the water and the new amenity fee (the “private yard”). Unfortunately, you aren’t provided with a breakdown of your actual usage, so you just must pay whatever amount that is listed. It has now been 43 days since I moved out of Andover Park Apartments, and I have not received my deposit refund. I have contacted management at the property and was told to allow 5-6 weeks depending on the backlog at the corporate office. This was odd since the state of Missouri requires for deposits to be returned within 30 days of the lease ending. It has been 43 days. I have contacted the corporate office on 3 separate occasions and been advised by 2 individuals that they can see my refund in the queue, but it has not been issued. It has been 43 days. The units here are spacious, washer and dryer are included, the property is conveniently located, and the maintenance staff is great. Just be aware that if or when you decide to move out, even if you follow all the rules outlined in the lease, your deposit? forget about it.I’ve been here about 5 months now and I’ve had a few issues here and there since move in but I overlooked majority of them as no place is perfect. However, I am now being forced to live with mice. I have a garden level unit and I expected a few bugs/insects here and there but I was not expecting any kind of rodents. I am a extremely clean person to the point that we don’t even wear shoes inside so I am baffled as to why they are in my unit let alone where they are coming from. Management also charges additional (monthly) for pest control so that also adds to my confusion.

Looking for a new place. I found this close to the place I'm at now. Used to be Carrington maybe? Across from Costco. Haven't decided yet, but it's a possibility. Nice club house.

Have attempted to contact the office for over 2 weeks now about availability on specific units and have had Zero return calls from the voicemails and emails. Before you say I blew up their phone. I have only called every 2 days to try and speak with someone. If this is a sign of how the complex is run, I am begging to think the complex isn't the right place to rent. Thanks for reading the rant. Hopefully anyone trying to get in contact with them has a much better experience than I.....?

I have lived here two years and must give the new manager Amario Velazquez high praise for all the improvements he has accomplished thus far. He promises more in the near future. He’s also communicated with the residents regarding complaints that were becoming serious issues. The office staff is always willing to listen!

Raised rent on us about 20% percent per month after my 1st lease was up. We loved our apartment, two bedroom plenty of space, great neighbors! That’s it after that everything else turned out to being a big joke. Management team is terrible, they are not attentive at all, a member of the office staff signed for my wife package but we never received the package, after confronting the office staff about it they stated that we could file an insurance claim on it with the company we purchased that product from, they did acknowledge Signing for the package but told us they can’t tell us what happened to it and they did us a favor for accepting packages. The office team is very rude and hardly ever return phone calls. During the winter they do not do a good job at all on the parking lot, I fell last year on a sheet of ice. Now that our lease is up, we decided to stay for 6 more months since we’re moving out of town but they told us we would have to move across the hall because our unit was rented out, and told the tenant who apartment they offered us that her unit was rented out as well, she had to move into a different building. I would not recommend this place for anyone.

When we discovered that our third roommate was going to have to leave at the end of the lease, we called the office to discuss our 60 day+ notice and all the necessary details needed to go through with that. My roommate was on the phone with one of the property managers while he had our account pulled up on his PC: she put him on hold for 5 minutes, then came back and told him that we owed a much higher amount than what was shown. My roommate refreshed the page (we should've screenshotted it first) and then we realized that she had changed it right under our noses. He called her out for that (think her name was Lexi), and she denied it of course, and made no effort to deescalate what turned into a shouting match between her and my roommate (who I've NEVER seen get that worked up over anything in my life) that went nowhere. Game over. We never had any issues with making payments on time or anything like that, either. We were just happy to GTFO when we could, but someone with a stronger sense of legal matters who maybe has a good lawyer could've definitely gotten traction here to fight against them.We had no issues with the grounds, they were very well kept. Our downstairs neighbors were wayyy too sensitive about us just walking around in our unit, but I obviously can't fault Carrington Park for that part, that's just apartment living. I am definitely faulting them for garbage management, however. As often as folks out here are getting scammed nowadays, I can't support Carrington Park in the slightest considering that they're no exception to that evil du jour. Unless you're personal friends with someone in the apartment office here or you're just a complete masochist, I'm willing to bet you're going to have a bad experience with this one, so keep looking.

This is definitely a place where you don't want to live with children, so many elderly that should be in assisted living complaining about music in the middle of the day and children running around the house...If I could give zero stars I would...recently had a pipe burst in the same complex and the apartment did nothing to compensate our displacement, only had my premiums go up on my renters insurance to house 2 adults and 5 children for the time we needed for the apartment to fix the issue all during the Christmas holidays...Unprofessional and uncaring!...Don't ever move here!!!

Lived here under previous management. So therefore I won’t go into particulars from when I lived there. That said the apartments, unless there’s been some major updates to the apartments and from the look of pictures there hasn’t been, is not worth the prices listed on their website. Also I love Costco… but don’t miss living across the street from it.
