This was our first time here and we loved it!! Both of our puppers stayed for 4 nights in the same kennel and they did great! We will definitely use them again and we may start taking them once a week for doggie day care just so they can play with others!!

Safety and wellness for your pet are paramount when boarding them. You trust strangers to care for your animals while you are away and expect them to be in good health upon your return. I cannot recommend Deogi Pointe due to a foundational failure that occurred during our last stay, which will require my dog to undergo surgery. My family has used Deogi Pointe for quite some time but will no longer go to them moving forward. During our last stay, we had to take one of our dogs for x-rays due to a hip injury he sustained while in their care. He dislocated his hip and now requires surgery to reset it.This incident is going to cost my family thousands of dollars. When I inquired about the cause of the injury, the owner and staff at Deogi Pointe could only speculate. The employees did not witness the incident, and there are no cameras to monitor the dogs, leaving us without any insight into what actually happened. I spoke with the owner about the responsibility of monitoring the dogs for their safety and well-being, and was met with blame-shifting and dismissive statements like "unrealistic."They mentioned that installing cameras isn't an option due to a lack of internet access. However, there are camera options that do not require an internet connection, and various ways to get internet service, regardless of location—Starlink, for example. This seems like a poor excuse for their inadequacy. It's unfortunate because we had enjoyed our past experiences with this facility. The owner argued that it's unfair for us to lose trust based on one incident, given our otherwise satisfactory history with them. I strongly disagree. A single occurrence can reveal a pattern of malpractice. To draw an analogy: if you're driving drunk and make it home safely 95% of the time, the 5% when you don't doesn't excuse the other 95%.Ultimately, I cannot trust Deogi Pointe to properly care for my dogs, particularly when they cannot account for what led to my family facing thousands of dollars in veterinary bills. I cannot, in good conscience, board my dogs here if they are not adequately monitored during their stay.

Whether it's for day boarding or an extended amount of time, my pups LOVE going to Deogi. The staff is exceptional and care about my "kids" just as much as I do. Both of my doodles have also gone thru training with Chris - well worth the investment.

In response to the owners statement below: There needs to be a level of accountability from the company responsible for caring for my dogs. Contrary to what the owner suggests, boarding my dogs together wasn't to save money. It was a decision based on their companionship and enjoyment of each other's company. They coexist peacefully at home. My point is that if Deogi Pointe's employees acknowledge rough play, I expect them to intervene, just as I would expect any responsible owner to do. My dogs don't engage in such behavior at my home. I've used Deogi Pointe's services on 10 different occasions. I cannot accurately gauge their activity level while under the company's care due to the lack of information provided to us. This sort of information has never been shared with us. While my dogs are generally active, their injuries cannot be attributed solely to their activity level. There are other factors at play, and I assumed that Deogi Pointe would provide proper care to minimize risks. Neglecting to account for this care suggests a gap in your business model. It was mentioned that my dog hobbled to the front upon our arrival for pickup. This is true; however, his inability to use his fourth leg wasn't a concern then, as we hadn't grasped the severity of the situation. We initially believed that such an injury couldn't have occurred under Deogi's care. The absence of surveillance cameras could be addressed at a fraction of the medical costs incurred due to this incident. Despite acknowledging the rough play, Deogi failed to create a safe environment for the animals. The crux of the issue lies in monitoring and accountability. My dog suffered a life-altering injury during his stay, and yet, there's no concrete explanation of how it transpired. While they speculate, no one witnessed the event. Unfortunately, no steps have been taken, nor are they willing to take any, to enhance pet monitoring. I hold Deogi Pointe responsible for my dog's injury since it happened under their care. The staff acknowledged the risk but took no preventative action. Deogi Pointe and its staff are entrusted with my dogs' well-being durin

During my dogs' four-day stay at Deogi Pointe boarding facility, I availed the "grooming" service, which was meant to include a bath and a nail trim for my beloved pets. Upon picking them up, I noticed that while a few nails had been trimmed, and a few had been overlooked.Seeking to address this matter and get a refund, I promptly reached out to Deogi Pointe. Although I had hoped for a more understanding response, the person who contacted me appeared somewhat defensive and exhibited a hint of rudeness. Despite this, I remained calm and conveyed my concerns about the incomplete and uneven nail trimming. Regrettably, I felt as though my feedback was not taken seriously, and the person spoke to me in a condescending manner, as if I was 5 years old, which was rather disappointing given my genuine concern.I believe that clear communication and mutual respect are essential in such situations, especially when discussing the care of our furry companions. Nonetheless, I am hopeful that the management will take this feedback constructively and strive to improve their services to ensure every customer's satisfaction in the future.Further more, since boarding my dog at Deogi Pointe, I've noticed some changes in their behavior that are concerning. While I understand that being away from home can be stressful for pets, I expected them to return to their usual self after a short adjustment period. However, it has been some time since their stay, and their behavior remains altered. Before the boarding experience, my dogs were generally cheerful, sociable, and had a healthy appetite. Now, they seem more withdrawn, less eager to interact with people or other dogs, and their eating habits have become inconsistent. One of them was walking sideways and tripping over himself and collapsing after only a few steps. This marked change in their demeanor has left me feeling worried and disappointed. While I acknowledge that changes in behavior can occur due to various factors, I can't help but wonder if the boarding experience played a role in these alterations. I entrusted their care to the facility, believing they would provide a safe and nurturing environment. However, the noticeable shift in my dog's behavior has left me questioning whether they received the attention and care they needed during their stay. As a devoted pet owner, I only wish for my dog's well-being and happiness.Nevertheless my dogs will never be in the "care" of Deogi Pointe again.

A couple of months ago I tried calling about their boarding service as I have two basset hounds - one with special needs. I wanted to make sure they could take care of her before I made a reservation online. I tried calling several times and they never returned my calls. Definitely not customer oriented!

We took our Vizla and Corgi here to be boarded for a week while out of town. When we arrived they were clean, well fed and happy! The owners even dealt with my worried self terrifically! Super happy with them and will use again.

Don't know how to rate this place as I have not used them. I made a reservation online for both of my dogs and I tried to call them several times with no answer. I left a message asking that they call me back and they never did. I see where they have some good and some bad reviews which leads me to question just how good they are.

Very happy with my recent choice to board my dog there! The facility is clean and well kept, owner’s are very friendly, fairly priced, more outdoor/playtime than other local boarding options, and my dog came home happy & healthy!

We’ve taken our boy dog here 4 or 5 tines and my previous dog many years ago and never want to take our dog or dogs anywhere else because we know they’re well taken care of. We took our boy somewhere else for a weekend trip because deogi was fully booked, so always call asap especially during busy times like spring break, and when we picked him up from this other place he was an emotional wreck. When we pick him up from deogi he is normal and just happy to see us. The grooming is great and all the prices are fair.

We have boarded there for many years, and would not take our dogs anywhere else. This is the finest kennel in the Northland.
