The food was delicious. Spicy cashews, edamame, quinoa, salmon, and yum yum sauce ?

Got the classic! A hint of spiciness and explosive flavors. So good!

Absolutely disappointed after visiting, I usually look forward to coming here and getting the same bowls for my boyfriend and I, but it was two nights in a row that I came in 1.5 hours before closing and they don't have chicken. At least on the second night we were offered to wait for them to cook some chicken that was supposed to take about 15 minutes, but I had to wait close to an hour for the chicken to be done as well as them not asking what rice I wanted or anything else. I wasted my time two nights in a row driving to this location from North Kansas City to be incredibly unhappy.

We first tried this place back in August 2023, and we absolutely loved it! Since then, we’ve used DoorDash since we live a good distance away from the location. However, we recently had an incident that was very frustrating. With my order, it is very simple with only 6 components: rice, a sauce I don’t remember the name of, tuna, salmon, edamame, and seaweed. Simple, right? Apparently not. This last time, I got a whole bunch of mango chunks that I never ordered, with a little bit of corn thrown in. We also ordered an extra scoop of tuna, which we never got but we did pay for according to receipt. Somehow, every single time we have ordered from them, something is either missing but we paid for it or we got something we never ordered. I’m starting to question whether or not whoever is making these orders is paying attention to the very clear instructions that are there for a reason. That’s the only issue I have with this place, but other than that, their food is absolutely amazing and has very good quality.

Stopped by for a quick lunch-- not only was it a feast for the eyes but I felt comfortably full. Energized to tackle my afternoon. Definitely recommend!

This place is legit! I wasn't expecting to find good poké in the Midwest, so I was pleasantly surprised. I came right as they opened on a Monday, so they weren't busy and I got my bowl very quickly. The space is pretty nice and modern, but I ended up taking my bowl to go.I loved how many toppings you could put onto the bowl, even toppings I would consider to be premium, like Masago, Kimchi, and Seaweed Salad. They also had plenty of sauce options. However, I will say that the quality of the fish wasn't anything special. It didn't taste bad or anything, but not particularly fresh. If you want to eat something on the healthier side, while still filling up, this is a great option!

My first time here and it was a great experience. I had the "Why So Serious" and it was just the right level of spicy and complex.

A friend of mine loves this place and recommended it. I was confused by the parking late. It says as a customer you can park in uber parking lot but only till 4pm? We came around 345 so I parked in the lower lot and had to pay. Only like a dollar an hour but still kinda ridiculous to me. My friend parked in the parking lot and in the middle of eating, we were asked if we were parked in the lot and if so we should probably move cause they saw "them" looking at it. Doesn't make sense if they are open till 8. The food was decent. I don't know if it's seasoned or not but I couldn't taste it really if it was. It did taste fresh though. The person who made our food was nice and helpful since this was my first time eating here. We were the only customers. For our two bowls no drinks or was about $34, that's pricey to me. I would eat there again but definitely in no rush to go back.

Great food and very reasonable pricing. Basically sushi in bowl form. Build whatever you want and enjoy. Also much more affordable than a trip to a sushi bar with generous portions.

First time going here. Showed up 30 minutes before closing and everything was still fresh. Attendant was helpful working through their menu. Definetly going back the next time I'm in town.

The best poké place in the Metro! The sushi grade fish is always incredibly fresh and the service amazing.Missing their housemade kombucha, but with poké so fresh it's impossible to find complaint!Vegetarian options: The containers and utensils are separated and it would be very easy to build a vegan or vegetarian option at this location.

Freestyle Poké is like Subway but for healthy and fresh bowls. My recommendation: embrace the "freestyle" by choosing your own bowl ingredients rather than selecting a preset option. I'm rather find of the quinoa base, spicy tuna, and fresh veggies. The generous portions and nutritional value make it worth the price (around $12-20). Don't miss their refreshing Kombucha and tea drinks—I recommend the Shaka brand pineapple mint tea. Eating on the patio is enjoyable, and I even got to hand-feed a little bird (see vid). Freestyle Poké is a great spot for a delicious and healthy meal! Eat fresh!Parking: Reserved parking for customers right next to the building.

I got a large bowl which was about 17 bucks. The food was tasty but it seems like it is a bit overpriced considering the food quality and amount. I will return to give it another try and update my review.

I know restaurant photos are always a bit done up, but the Ride The Wave bowl didn't look remotely like the picture.Salmon texture was way off as well.Sauce was tasty though!
