Matt(guest services) & Mitch(bartender) instantly brightened up our mood after a VERY long day of travel. Their energy & positive attitude alone would keep us coming back. Our room was perfect as well! We will definitely return!

The hotel staff is so friendly! They were extremely helpful and communicated well. The bar and food located downstairs is a great atmosphere and the food actually tastes great. The rooms were clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The location is also great, about 5-10 minutes away from most things downtown. Enjoyed my stay hereRooms: The beds are very comfy, and it's also important that they are clean.Food & drinks: The food is way better than I expected for a hotel!

Fantastic location! Close to I-70 and other main veins of the city and lots of restaurants within easy walking distance. Very clean, comfortable and accommodating hotel with breakfast and easy parking! Felt safe and comfortable. Only negative is they don't allow dogs, but I guess you can't get it all. I was grateful to get a good deal on our rooms. This was a very nice hotel with a helpful staff! Matt was extremely kind and willing to answer questions. It was close to so many things, so visiting popular attractions was easy. I would recommend staying here!

The location is prime If you are looking to have a good time in the heat of downtown KCMO. The fitness center is better than any other hotel fitness center than I have used. If you don't have time to venture to a gym on stay this fitness center can get you by in a pinch. Also, Matt provided us with great info about the downtown area and activities we may be able to do near the hotel. We really can't say enough about the professionalism of Matt! 5/5 for Matt!Rooms: Very nice rooms here, 5/5.Nearby activities: The fun of downtown KCMO.Safety: There is parking lot security which is nice for many reasons.Walkability: Very close to down town, the reason we picked it.Food & drinks: The food up front is great if you need a drink or snack.

I am a bit above five feet tall and the beds are extremely high off the ground. I think the very thick mattress doesn't need a boxspring as well. I literally have had to climb up into the bed. The guest services person told me that he'd suggest to management that purchasing step stools would be necessary. And I'm sure that I'm not the only person affected by this.Also, I am disabled and staying in room 131 with the ADA accessibility. There really needs to be more than one shower bar in the tub. Also, it needs an extendable shower head, as the shower head is very high and I couldn't reach it to adjust it.Overall, my stay was good, the staff very nice, everything was very clean and beautiful. The height of the bed and ADA shower were my only issues.

This place is simply amazing!!! I dug through a ton of places between hotels and airbnbs and landed on this spot. It does not disappoint!! We traveled with a 1 1/2 yr old and felt safe. The place is incredibly clean-smells clean and wonderful, great price, great food, super easy parking & great location!The staff is what truly drives it home though. Every single person was so nice and helpful, a breath of fresh air for customer service. Matt & Mitch were super great and made our experience extra awesome!!We can both be a touch picky and we were definitely beyond thrilled & satisfied here. What a great time it’s been in KC!Rooms: The beds are sooo comfortable!!! Along with the pillows! Clean!! This place makes you feel like you spent a lot more for how nice they are!!! Nice Samsung tv. Cute decor. Bright mirrors for hair and makeup. Plenty of room.Nearby activities: Tons of things to do!!! From coffee shops & the farmers market. To tons of food & restaurant options. Museums to check out if that’s your thing. Shopping. Stadiums/venues. Parks. Casino.Safety: Absolutely felt safe the entire time with a 1 1/2 yr old with. Felt safe parking here, felt safe inside. Had no issues with anything.Food & drinks: Food was great. Good prices & excellent service!

I had a great stay here. The staff is fantastic. At the restaurant, I need to eat gluten free and Makita and Germany were SO accommodating, asking questions to make sure everything was safe for me. I really appreciate that. And they were so pleasant. Great staff and great breakfast. One star off the room for a small stain on the pillow case. Everything else was wonderful, including the gentleman who checked us in. Would stay again.Nearby activities: We visited on Columbus Day and were bummed that the Jazz Museum was closed but we still had a great time visiting the free Nelson-Atkins Art Museum instead.Walkability: We walked to an Italian restaurant (Garozzo's) in the evening, for dinner, with no issues. Well lit, quiet.Food & drinks: Gluten free food is not listed on the menu but the staff was very accommodating. The omelette with peppers and onions was excellent.

Overall, our stay was a great experience. We were initially greeted by Matt at the front desk who was very friendly and made the check-in process easy. If you visit, go speak with Mitch at the bar, he provided our group with a great selection of things to do, places to see, and made some great cocktails. We definitely recommend this place and would absolutely stay here again.

This is my second trip to KCMO and my first time staying at a hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and social as we came and went through the lobby. Matt at the front desk was hospitable upon check in. If you stay at this hotel you have to visit their hotel bar and talk to Mitch. He was the best bartender (the best!) and a great source of information on things to do and places to go in KC. Overall, I would recommend this location for those wanting to visit/stay in KC!Rooms: Clean and spacious

This hotel was really nice to stay in! Everything was clean and smelled nice, and the front desk people were friendly. Our only issue was that parking was a bit tight at night. The lot by the hotel is all hotel parking and the lot across the street has some designated holiday inn parking spots. We’ll stay here again when we’re in Kansas City!

It’s a pretty hotel, but the rooms are a little smaller than I imagined. I’ve had good experiences with staff so far, and it’s not super far from downtown, but still enough that you can’t really walk there from the hotel. I have one more night here, and it’s been a good experience so far!Rooms: Efficient and has all the basics supplied.Safety: I haven’t experienced any safety concerns.Noteworthy details: I liked that there was already an iron and ironing board in the room. The TV system is a little difficult to use.

I recently stayed here, and I must say, it was a truly exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly warm, welcoming and attentive. The lobby had a warm and inviting atmosphere.Matt and Marsha took care of me and my friend immediately accommodating us when we had a minor issue with our original room. The new room was extremely clean and comfortable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a hotel with top notch service.
