I had a 10 am appointment I was on time no other clients present. I am a w-2 single person renter. The only reason I came to you was because I divorced in 23, sold a rental property in 24 and had to split the proceeds and pay capital gains. The person preparing my taxes had to call another office for direction multiple times and then another client came up to the other tax prep guy behind my guy and the other tax preparer guy continually interrupted my tax preparer while he was on the phone asking questions about my tax return. I had an appointment the other person was a walk in. The continual interruptions and the lack of knowledge of my prep person did not leave me feeling confident in the accuracy of my return. Then to add to the top of this cluster. I was charged $219.00 though your advertisement says NO MORE than $149.00 for new customers. He was going to charge me over 500.00 Initially until I reminded him and he said he gave me a discount as he had to do more than a straight w-2 filing.
I feel I was over charged. His lack of knowledge and need to contact others so he could complete my tax return and the constant interruptions by a clearly junior tax preparer leaves me questioning the accuracy of my return and leaves me determined not to use your services again.

Preparer was great. Service was done in about 25 minutes. I am unable to successfully sign up for an account to access my electronic return because the security measures to verify registration fail.

I went to Jackson Hewitt and the fees were extremely to expensive and they charge for everything the representative was very nice and professional and i know she was doing her job but to me the fees are way to expensive that is crazy to me they should give new customers a first time discount they give you coupons to give to friends or family and you can't get 20 if you refer some one only if they use the coupon when they get there taxes done i just feel i got RIPPED OFF WITH THOSE FEES
