Jazzercise Kansas City Northland is an excellent place to exercise for both cardio and strength! Over 10 years of going to Jazzercise, the owners, instructors and members have always brightened my day. I know, exercise produces happy hormones, but the owners and instructors are so friendly, fun and professional! They start on time, demonstrate the steps clearly, have a very positive attitude, and they know your name! The workouts are professionally choreographed to exercise all muscles through a full range of motion with warm up and cool down. If you're starting out or have physical limitations, so that you need a light, gentle workout, there are low impact and less strenuous versions of the movements/steps. If you are serious about building strength and cardio endurance, you get out of it what you put into it. Equipment and hand weights up to 12 lbs (maybe 15 lbs) are provided. You'll find yourself surrounded by sharp people, because anyone who exercises regularly has discipline. Considering not going? You'll miss out on the encouragement you'll receive from seeing your friends, and you'll miss out on feeling better physically and emotionally. One more thing, I often walk in with stiff neck and shoulder muscles, and maybe a headache. I know of no exercise, other than Jazzercise, that relieves tight shoulder and neck muscles. I can walk in with a headache or limited neck motion, and walk out with no headache and a full range of motion. Nothing else pushes hard pumping oxygenated blood into those muscles at the same time that you're moving your arm and shoulder muscles in a full range. Hot tubs and massage chairs cannot do that. Standing around waiting for your turn on a weight machine definitely won't do that. You have to have the increased cardio while moving your arms and shoulders. Jazzercise does it. I've been attending 10 years and still highly recommend it. This is the best 30, 45, or 60-minute (classes vary) workout I've found. A bonus for this location: I've worked out at many Jazzercise facilities when traveling, and in my experience, this has the best sound system and flooring. And the restrooms (two!) are very nice.

For the past 2 years I would go to the post office on Barry & hear the music. Always thinking ahh I should stop in and ask. Well finally one day I had the guts to go online and do it. Downloaded the app & checked the schedule. Next class was in 15 minutes. If you’re gonna do mine as well show up and do it! Absolutely zero regrets. No judgement. Great women. Running a bit late who cares! Jump in! Always Greeted with love and a smile.InesRoutines I come from a family who dance but your girl has two left feet. Have I tripped over my feet absolutely. Did anyone laugh nope. We keep going. You get to pick your Intensity. Low for those with bad knees and high for those who really want to get at it. Honestly depends on the week for me in the end just getting up and moving makes me feel better every day!My best advice do it.

After attending the Galentines day event that I saw through Facebook I was amazed at the atmosphere and camaraderie of the women and instructors here! I then attending a second class with Aubrey and I think I am hooked! This is definitely something worth trying out for a good workout and fun at all levels!

Within the first week I started, I felt a positive difference. Jazzercise boosts my mood. I have more energy to get things done and enjoy my evenings. I am less irritable. Before Jazzercise, I used to have a lot of bad days where I would feel out of control, frustrated and hopeless. Jazzercise helps my hormones be at good levels so I don’t have those artificial bad feelings holding me down. I am also losing weight and my body is beginning to look better. This kind of exercise works for me because it is fun and it flows at a decent level of intensity. It doesn’t take much effort; I just follow along.

I joined jazzercise almost 5 years ago and I am never going anywhere else! The instructors are so motivating, the community of students is amazing and the workout is excellent. Strength training, cardio, and stretching! Don't let the name fool you, this is the BEST workout I have ever done!

The Jazzercise Community is inspiring and motivating. For me, post pandemic I was craving group fitness again, but something fun! This has checked all my needs in terms of mental health improvement, physical endurance, beginner to advanced dance and strength routines, and inspiring women across all fitness journeys. The times they offer meet the needs of a 9-5 as well as 12 hour shifts. 10/10 Recommend!
