There does need to be more parking for having company to come over to visit. Also don't like the rent increases lately. Maybe charge the new tenants more & give the steady good standing tenants appreciation by not raising.

I love market station!! Not only is it in a great location, in the river market but all the staff are so helpful. Charles has helped me many times when ive needed help in my apartment hes has been awesome!

Chris on the maintenance team was extremely helpful!! Had a breaker issue in my bedroom and he worked quickly and thoroughly to get everything back on track so I could continue moving in smoothly!

I have been resident here for about 2 years, and I'd highly recommend these apartments to all of my friends. Very nice and well managed complex. Maintenance goes above and beyond to improve our living space. I put in an order to help with the shower drain, and Charles not only did a great job with the order, he found a leak and fixed it for us. Macy and Michael, our office staff/manager are also very nice, well organized, and accommodating! Great location, nice amenities, and great staff, all of our close friends should stay here with us! Highly recommend!

The location is great, the amenities are great, and the apartments are super spacious for the price downtown. Our appliances and furnishings also all feel modern and functional. We also love the private parking garage- eases our fear of car break-ins a lot. I've actually been pleasantly surprised by the noise- I expected the train sounds to be a LOT louder than they are, but I can only hear vague rumbles from inside my unit. Maintenance has also been great since we moved in- Charles is the guy who usually ends up at our apartment when we have any problems and he's done a great job every time!Definitely recommend touring if you want to live in the River Market!

Market station was a great place to live! The staff is one of the absolute best! They pay attention to little details, know their residents and go out of the way to make sure everything is taking care of! The Maintenance team was so friendly and helpful with anything I needed! They knew me by name and always offered to help when they could!Great location with quick access to nature and the city market!

Market Station is top-tier living in Rivermarket area in downtown KC. From the amenities, the apartments, location, and it’s staff! Truly wonderful place to live.Want to give a shout-out to Charles, on the maintenance squad, for diligently fixing our garbage disposal. Can’t say enough about the professionalism, politeness, and care all of the staff have for it’s facilities and patrons it houses.

I’ve lived here for almost 2 years and the staff and maintenance crew is top notch! I work a night schedule at the hospital right now and had a minor maintenance issue. Charles moved some things around to accommodate my odd sleep schedule. He was so professional and thorough and of course fixed the issue! Bonus points to him for being great with my dog!

Other apartments in the area are in the same price range but are cleaned/maintained way better than Market Station. Positives: The location & the maintenance crew is amazing. Negatives. 1)Additional charges added at move out seem like a greedy money grab. A $200 cleaning fee added to my last bill w/o explanation that requires a form to be signed w/a time limit to opt out of. This service they are now automatically adding to bills seems shady when it was never announced. It seems that they are just hoping residents won't notice/question it. When I got my final bill, replacement of carpet due to pet urine was on it. They charged me 80% for new carpet to be replaced and claimed that the carpet was new at move in 2 years ago. I know the carpet wasn't new bc I personally cleaned it myself at move in & it was filthy! I immediately called the office & spoke w/ Michael, who confirmed that the carpet was 2 years old at my move in. I told him that I was positive that my dog didn't urinate on the carpet & he said I'd need to talk to Amanda about my complaint & she'd call me back. After not hearing back, I called again to speak w/Amanda. She informed me that the carpet WAS new when I moved in & that if my dog didn't urinate on the carpet, it must have been human. Not only is that very unprofessional & insulting, it's completely ridiculous! She told me she would sent additional pictures of the carpet (bc there is barely anything noticeable in the picture originally sent). The 2nd pic I was sent doesn't even look like the same carpet from the original picture & there is nothing indicating that the 2nd pic taken was carpet from my apartment. It looks as if it was taken in the back of a van. Even in the first pic sent, there is nothing in the pic indicating that it's in my apartment. It just looks like a generic pic of a piece of carpet. I've questioned this to both the MS office & their corporate office. Both are telling me there's nothing they can do to remove the charges. They've since provided me w/a receipt for new carpet installed before my move in, which I question the validity of. 2)The buildings are rarely cleaned. Once maybe every 3 months (and that's being generous), they'd sweep the hallways. However, when they swept, instead of picking up the dirt and trash, they'd sweep it outside the door that people use to enter the building. Residents would immediately track all the same dirt & trash right back inside. Also, although it isn't the complex's fault that residents don't pick up after their pets, I do fault them for not cleaning it up once it gets so bad that it is everywhere throughout the dog park & courtyard area. It would end up getting so disgusting that residents ended up cleaning the areas. 3)It is not uncommon to see mice scurrying down the hall in the buildings & mice/rats in the courtyard areas. The staff was notified several times but the problem continued. 4)An overall lack of security. When my ex moved out, I e-mailed the office & asked to have him removed from the lease & I paid the $350 fee. A new lease was uploaded to the portal & I signed it. I specifically asked if his key fob to get into the building would be deactivated & was told that it would be. A month later, I got my ex's fob back & it had never been deactivated. At move out I went into the office to turn in my keys & was told that I needed to sign a notice to vacate. Once received, there was a spot on it for my ex to sign, indicating that he'd never been removed from the lease. I find it very unsettling that my ex was left on the lease unknowingly for months before it was realized & I find this to be absolute negligence on their part. 5)There was a couple month period in which the fire alarms would go off overnight & wouldn't be turned off for hours. This happened 3-4 times within this time period & one night it lasted 4 hours. MS blamed the fire department &

Love living here! The staff is super awesome and so quick to come fix problems. My dog loves seeing them when I walk around because they're all super nice and give her treats. Charles is awesome!
