There is not “library etiquette” here.
The facility itself is good, but this is by far the loudest, most disruptive library I have ever been in. I have lots of family, so I understand that little kids tend to be loud, but there is always a screaming child or adults talking at full volume. There is also a consistent group of middle or maybe early high-school aged kids running between the study rooms or yelling inside of them.
One time three of them circled my table making fart noises and giggling trying to get me to look up. It’s a small library, and I happened to be sitting directly in front of the branch manager’s office and nothing happened with it. I ignored them and they went away but still weird?
I’m sure this is a great place to bring your kids or to socialize, but if you’re looking for a quiet place to study, this is not it.

I love going to Mid-Continent library. They have a great selection of books, magazines and DVDs and they have awesome programs available. This branch's cafe is also delicious!

Just asked an employee if I could leave my laptop at the desk while I use the bathroom and they said "you can set it anywhere, I just can't watch it for you." How on earth do they expect him to watch the desk if he admits he can't be trusted with a laptop for a couple minutes?! That's ridiculous. Time for retraining at this location. Unsurprisingly they have only 10 books about citizenship.

Newer library, well ran, very nice and helpful staff and 6 very nice meeting rooms available for use for free. The rooms are booked in 1hr or 2hr blocks and can be easily reserved on the website. The cooking classes are also available and we hope to take a class.
The northland is lucky to have such a nice location with nice, caring, and knowledgeable staff.

The Green Hills Library is outstanding in working with so many customers, of varying ages! Our Book Club met in the Novella Cafe and enjoyed the help by the Librarians to make our time successful!

Printers and computers available.
A nice little coffee shop inside of the library.
Good sized parking lot.

A reader’s paradise! This library has it all, a delightful coffee shop, kind librarians (shout out to Emmy!), dynamic architecture, and nooks where you can curl up and get lost in a book.
When you enter, you get greeted with the smell of fresh coffee - you feel at home! This branch offers story time, culinary classes and a HUGE selection of cook books. Don’t forget to check out the kids area - it’s full of natural light and fun. We live very far from this branch but I will make EVERY effort to come back and invite friends here.

Came here to meet friends at the coffee shop. The coffee shop had great selection and seemed like a great place to sit and work if you don’t mind a bit of noise. I didn’t check out any books but the library was clean and well taken care of and all the staff I encountered were friendly!

My kids were happily playing in the children's area at 8:25, they close at 9. The library employee came over and took all the toys from them?! Said she had to get ready for tomorrow. There was no signs that said the children's area closes before 9. I'm assuming she wanted to leave right at 9 rather than stay after and DO HER JOB. I had 2 disappointed little girls.
