We have been using National for years mainly for there great car selection, ease of use and the great customer care. If you think about it cars have 10,000 moving parts, multiple computers etc. things can a do go wrong but when they do National is there for you and a real person answers the phone. A true 5 star experience. A huge thanks to Nick L in Kansas City.

I’m a frequent traveler and National is my #1 choice for my car rentals. Their service is excellent, cars are newer models and always clean. My last rental was in Kansas City (MCI) and Drake was the service member that took care of me and he was great.

Had to fly through Kansas City International. As an Executive level I enjoy just jumping in a going. This trip all they had were Minivans, which is by far not my preference. The 1st one i got settled into had a screen not working, no controls. So I had to pack back up and get into another one. This one (i found out after driving away) had missed some kids food crumbs all over the back seats. Oh well.Agent Hector Flores checked me in at drop off, and was wonderful. He took care and concern over my satisfaction 1st and foremost.

I travel frequently and use National most of the time. I get to pick out the car that I want and they make it easy.. Cars are new and well maintained. Car returns are easy as well. I returned my car at the KC airport location and Trent checked me in. He was very efficient and gave me directions on how to be picked up by my wife.

So worst case scenario for a newbie but excellent experience for a pro. Got there and it was like pick a minivan, any minivan with no other cars but bursting with full size SUVs. I asked and was upgraded to a great truck, lots of gas but I prefer it to a sedan. When I returned the truck the charge was reasonable and got my receipt. When looking at it I was charged $82.00 for a full tank of gas when I topped it off to the max ! No worries, I called customer service and it was reversed in minutes. I’m executive level and know most of the ins and outs but this could be a nightmare for someone who does not know what to look out for. Great company and best out there.

Every National Car Rental team member I've encountered at the Kansas City airport has been outstanding. I typically arrive after midnight to pick up a car. They are always friendly, courteous, and extremely helpful. Excellent service skills really do matter!

I rent cars every two weeks and decided and gave National a try recently. It was by far the best rental experience I've had. The car was super clean(even the windshield which is often full of bugs even after a car wash), There was someone to greet me and direct me to my car and at the return the person was very courteous and respectful. I will be with National from here on .

MCI National has always been absolutely stellar in service from pickup to drop off. Shelton Ponder II the exit Booth Agent is a true gem. By the time I got to the gate to leave I noticed the smoke smell was worse than I thought when I first got in but was to late to go back so I asked him to note the file and he was so nice. Super genuinely happy representative of National. Use them exclusively when available and don't like the others. Folks like Shelton make the true difference!

Great service and rate! I love to be able to just walk down the aisle and pick which car I want. I got a compact car for one week to visit my Mom. The car of my choosing was a navy blue Mazda CX-5. The interior of the car was clean, but I think someone broke the no smoking rule; sadly, the exterior of the car was dirty. In addition, as soon as I drove it off their lot, it had a low tire pressure warning (29 psi). I had to air up the tire twice while I had it and I told them so upon dropping it off. For these two negative reasons I dropped their rating to one star. Great Price and very professional.

National- Kansas City airport: Terrible experience!! We have the Emerald Club and there are no cars available! We’ve been standing in the heat waiting for 35 minutes. All of the cars are dirty, this is unacceptable!

Love National Car in Kansas City. It's always a quick process and a nice variety of vehicles to choose from at Emerald Club. I decided to get a pickup as I was planning on renting bicycles while there and they had 4 different pickup models. Airport shuttle there is also super easy. Since all of the car rentals are at the same place, there are shuttles running constantly so I've never waited more than a few minutes. I do wish they were open past midnight, though.

Again using National for my car rental was great. No lines, no bother. Just straight to my car and on the road. I was also able to make a last minute change to my itinerary with no hassle.Patrick who checked me in upon return at MCI was also very helpful and pleasant. And that has not always been my experience with other rental company employees.I recommended National for any vehicle rental.

I use National and I am a Executive Elite member. I was recently delayed for 45 mins waiting for a car in Tulsa on March 23. I was promised a free 1 day credit as compensation, to be used at my discretion. I have had multiple rentals since and each time the young person checking me in upon my return from a rental asks me "Is there anything they can do for me?". I tell them to please find out where my free 1 day credit is from my Tulsa rental. Nothing happens. National pretends to care about good customer service and in reality it is just a show with no corrective action ever taken when a problem occurs.

Check In Easy, finding car return was unique, there is a gas station near return not found on Google. Awesome check in lady helped me take the tops off the Jeep and on return a kind Patrick helped with my jeep return. I loved the Jeep it was perfect for the hot days.
