As a current customer of Penske I rate them a zero. My company has had problems since the beginning. In the last 6 months we went through 3-4 trucks because of them breaking down or they messed up our billing information. As a small business we try to prevent as many problems but when dealing with Penske there is always a problem. If you are in the in the trucking industry or in the market for box trucks please run somewhere else. Penske continue to charge asanine prices to close a contract and re-open a new one when a truck breaks down. When we turned our truck in for maintenance and receive it back, later that night the lift gate breaks and leaking fluid. This incident happened twice within 6 months. I would ask for penske to do better especially if you want to retain customers. #badservice #badtrucks.

Super nice guy when I intentionally got the rental, but didn't disclose to me they would triple the fees on gas if I didn't bring it back full. Mechanic had to come out to check under hood because lift wasn't working, and then showed me how to flip switch under hood in case it didn't lift again. I did return truck with 3/4 tank of gas but used less miles and figured it would even out. NOPE!!!! Hateful female employee let me know originally it was $6 per gallon and then called back and said $8 per gallon....to fill it up. They NEVER disclosed that to me and she responded "did you think we were giving you gas for free". $80 is what they took out of my $150 deposit to fill up a quarter tank of gas. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Penske charges LESS PER MILE. I liked driving the cargo van. The staff was so very gracious. I'm sorry I can't get remember the young man's name. I wish I had more furniture to pickup!

Dishonest advertising, unmaintained trucks. They guarantee that your reserved truck will be available at the time and location requested if the reservation is made more than 24 hours in advance. They do not stand by this guarantee in any way. I reserved days in advance, but got a call the day before my reservation telling me that they can't get a truck there and that I'd have to drive to their KC metro headquarters... Which was 25 minutes one-way out of my way. Then they gave me a van with a tire pressure warning on the dash. Assured me the sensor was just bad. Tire was flat as a pancake the next morning. Yeesh. This is Uhaul grade service at a much higher price.

We have rented two trucks from Penske this month and both times our truck was not available at our pickup location. Today we are left driving around town waiting for your customer service to find our truck. Customer service has told us both times our reservation disappeared from your system. The Home Depot Customer service said the same thing happened to them. Your website states same truck or bigger guaranteed! I think someone needs to look into your software. Leaving families waiting for your company to track down trucks is not a good business plan. If I could give no stars I would.

People were nice, trucks were pretty clean. Though gave us major delays on our move to wyoming. Had to re plan our trip because of multiple truck re locations & our car carrier being blocked in. Mechanics edgar and another gentleman were GREAT on getting our headlight replaced and helping with straps on the car carrier. I would do business here again, just need to increase efficiency.

Horrible experience. AC crapped out after 6 hours of driving across country and Penske attempted to fix the problem 3 times making us travel hours away from our route just for them to make us wait while they think they fit it but everytime less than an hour of starting our journey the AC went out again but the last service department without informing us provided us with a new truck which is great but they had to hire a moving company to move all of our belongings from the old truck to the new truck and then still had a lot of items left over and couldn't get it to fit. The time we were done and ready to travel, we lost 6 hours and not including the time it took us to get back on track. Customer service was great to communicate with but took so long to travel out of the way to get to their service centers. Worse experience.
