I don't have a membership at this studio, but I love to attend drop-in classes. This studio has taught me so much - in fact, I learned the basics here that have kept me going as a yoga lover. I have been going on and off here since 2018 (pre-pandemic). Once we were able to attend classes again, I was very impressed by their dedication to keeping their clients staying safe and feeling that they were in the right hands. I have been attending classes - a few of which are free! They have 2-3 classes a week that are free to introduce you to the studio and to the art of yoga! Following their social media and keeping in touch with the studio will help you figure out when these classes happen. One of my favorite classes that this studio has to offer is "sculpt." They incorporate weights into a traditional yoga setting. This turns the class into s a full-body workout. As a male, there are times where I may not "fit in" to yoga and fitness classes, but here I felt welcome. I feel that this is a workout that other males may also benefit from. They have sessions throughout the entire day. Be sure to check the schedule and plan ahead of time as spaces fill up.

I took my first class at Powerlife today and it was just what I needed to get back into yoga? The owner, Bri and her adorable golden retriever Molly are very friendly and welcoming. I took the power sculpt express class with Mattie and it was challenging in the best way possible! The music was perfect and she gave great instruction. You will leave soaking wet so bring a towel! Needless to say I’m hooked and I can’t wait to take more classes at this studio.

I love this place as the classes are always different and the instructors are amazing. They also have tons of class times to work with anybody's schedule as many studios are very limited. Plus, this place has five locations in KC, which helps contribute to the various times too.

Before the pandemic, I regularly went to a hot yoga studio in Houston. I am so grateful to Power Life for helping me revive my practice--the community and instructors are so thoughtful and encouraging.

Finding your place where you feel comfortable to do your yoga can be difficult to find. It’s all about the teachers and how you connect with the way they are teaching the classes. I found that I could pick any classes and any teachers at Power Life and feel good about my choices. I don’t hesitate anymore, I just go for it and feel good. They make me feel good and connected to others. I’m celebrating my 100 classes and just got my annual membership. There’s no questions to ask anymore and love the power life teachers that help me grow in my yoga forms. I’m not perfect, but I show up on my mat, learn, grow and feel good! Thanks Power Life to bring the power in me!

I spent the summer in Kansas City and when I asked for hot yoga studio recommendations in the area Power Life came up quite a few times so I decided to get a week pass. I'm not new to yoga, I'm not new to heated yoga, I'm not new to HIIT. I attend 3-5 heated vinyasa classes a week when I'm home. I signed up for a midday "Hot Yoga" class, literally, that's the name of it. Were there some references to yoga poses? Sure...but that was the extent of the yoga element. The class was heated, so they got that right too I suppose but this was not yoga. There was no emphasis on the breath or correctly getting into poses and utilizing your strength. If you want a HIIT workout and to "feel the burn" then this is the class and studio for you. If you're hoping for heated, thoughtful, meaningful vinyasa this is definitely not the spot. I didn't love the "pep" talk the teacher gave as class got started either, "what are you hear to sweat away today? What are you working for?" Yikes. The people working were friendly and the gal teaching was well meaning I imagine and kind, I'm sure she's not in charge of naming the classes or writing the descriptions. Parking was easy. The studio was pretty and clean. Large locker rooms too.

Joined Power Life a couple of years ago after my fiance suggested it would help my back pain as I was going to the chiropractor about once a week. These classes have helped build my core and saved a lot of trips (and money) to the chiro. The teachers are amazing and well trained. The facilities are always cleaned right after each class. Classes are spread throughout the day to make it convenient to your schedule. Definitely worth trying out if you like to get a good sweat in but also benefits mental health and breathing!

From the moment you walk in the doors you feel welcome. The facilities are clean, the instructors are knowledgeable, professional, accommodating, and pretty pretty funny to boot. The fellow yogi’s have been pleasant and engaging in their own way.Google only allows 5 starts but I give Power Life 10/10!

Power life offers a variety of class types and times, and I look forward to working out there almost every day! The yoga classes are relaxing but still offer a good workout, and the sculpt classes push me to challenge myself and grow my practice!

I absolutely love the Lee's Summit studio! It has changed my life and yoga practice. Love classes with Emily, Cat, Bailee, Ryan, and Tiffany! But seriously, they're all amazing. 10/10 recommend.
