Primrose Ward Parkway is such a loving and joyful place for our kiddo. He comes home everyday learning so many new things and developing skills well beyond his age! He shows so much love and compassion for everyone he meets, from people at the store to new friends on a playground, that I know he learns from teachers and friends at school every single day.The curriculum is designed to add structure while also allowing them to explore new things. This helps our strong-willed toddler so much, as I believe these boundaries really help to keep him focused. I’ve seen him grow developmentally so much and fast over the last 10 months of being enrolled here. We did so much research before deciding where to take him and I wouldn’t recommend any other daycare in the area over Primrose Ward Parkway.

I am saddened to hear how staff and children are treated here. As a former Early Childhood Educator of more than 10 years, I would not recommend this particular location or the sister site that just opened unless you are desperate and only care about outside appearance. Shame on you leadership staff. Do better.

We were devastated to leave our beloved daycare in Chicago. Since our move to KC, we toured five daycares (one in-home and four centers) and none of them felt right. We were about to throw in the towel and keep our daughter home until we walked into Primrose School of Ward Parkway. The staff and teachers are friendly, caring and wonderful at communicating every update within the school and your child’s day. I love that the staff and teachers are diverse, it makes for an inclusive and comfortable environment for those who are POC (like myself). My daughter is happy at the end of the day and has learned so much. I couldn’t be happier with our decision!

The leadership team and staff at Primrose of Ward Parkway is unmatched! We’ve been with the daycare since our child was an infant and from day 1 have felt comfortable when dropping off every morning. They did an incredible job navigating the pandemic as well. Our child has learned an incredible amount through the curriculum and through socializing with all children. We love going to school everyday!

We have been a part of this school for almost 2 years and have had such a wonderful experience. The staff is incredibly professional and friendly, and it’s so apparent how much they love the kids. I have always felt my kids are in great hands and they enjoy coming to school. I would highly recommend this school!

We just finished up 2 years at Primrose Ward Parkway. We had a great experience at the school. The school plans so many fun activities for the kiddos. The school is organized, clean, and easy to communicate with. I always knew he was in good hands when he was at school. All around good experience for us.

I recently toured the facility. The facility is nice, clean, and everyone was friendly. I was not a fan of having for fork over $150 to get on a waiting list with no idea if/when you would be able to start. Getting on a waiting list shouldn't cost anything so that was a red flag for how they view their service. Secondly there was a teacher in one of the toddler room who was yelling at the kids. Not like trying to be heard raised voice, but yelling at specific kids. She yelled multiple times and the kids were so accustomed to it they didn't even stop what they were doing. The part that really was unsettling to me was when a door flew open to a room and teach was dragging a kid out of the room by their forearm. She was pulling him to the office. He broke loose of her hold and she cupped her arm around his neck and pulled him around a corner. No stopping to de-escalate the situation to calm down, just brunt force. This all happened in front of the director. Did she say anything to help de-escalate, like the child's name or even the instructors name to help? No, her total lack of response indicated to me that this is a common, allowed occurrance here. I promptly recycled the documents they gave me as soon as I got home. If you have a child who goes here, a spirited young african american boy who is probably tall for his age, with 1 inch hair, blue/black swimming trunks with green stripes and is in a room on the right side of the toddler room and he got into "trouble" on 7/30/21, know he was not treated well that day. What glitters isn't always gold.

We have loved our time at Primose! When our previous plans for summer fell thru due to Covid 19, Primrose was recommended by two close friends who sent their children there. Everything is communicated well and so professional. The school and playgrounds are beautiful and clean with wonderful toys and learning supplies that engage my child. My four year old has learned to write her name perfectly in a matter of weeks! The app used to give constant picture, learning and meal/snack updates to parents is my favorite part! While the cost is higher than some other choices, I feel the resources and benefits to the children justify the price. We will always speak highly of Primose and consider them again with our younger kiddos.

This is quality childcare. I get pictures throughout the day of my child learning. He has been more interested in letters and writing since he started. This place is organized, clean and reliable. I feel worry free at drop off knowing my little one is in good hands!

Love this school and so do my kids. They have been excellent during the CoVid-craziness. Thorough precautions, and encouraging the littles to practice good hygiene have been awesome. Great culture & happy, healthy kids. Highly recommend.
