If you are looking for things for your kitchen Pryde’s has got you covered. Their customer service was excellent and they even offered us tea or coffee while we shopping. Make sure you visit their bakery while you are there. Their fresh baked goods were so good. Their pie crust is so flaky and buttery. I honestly could have eaten a whole pie of just crust.

This store has a plethora of neat kitchen gadgets, and every essential you could want for your kitchen - in several colors most likely.I decided to give my mom a gift card for this place. They hand create the certificate and wrap it in a lovely box, which seems extra - but she was delighted to open it, as I'm sure she will be to peruse the aisles of this well stocked store.

Such a charming and unique store for kitchen items and so much more. The service is exceptional. Definitely worth a visit to support a local KC institution like Pryde's!

Wow, what a fun place! If I loved to cook, I'd haunt this store. It's just a delightful, whimsical cook's wonderland with a historical twist. You kind of have to see it to understand. And there's a bonus--free coffee samples upon request. AND if you visit on Thursday-Saturday during certain hours, it gets even better-- the cute and delicious little pie shop downstairs is open. Just don't get there too late. They do sell out

Do you love to cook? Do you love browsing different kitchen accessories and gadgets? Well...Pryde's in Kansas City (has) everything you could imagine! I should have taken more pictures - as these do not do any justice. There is tons upon tons of stuff here! And the staff is always helpful, friendly, and really make the atmosphere of the place!

I came in here with my sister looking for a Depression Green glass measuring cup. I saw one on a cooking show (Delicious Miss. Brown) and fell in love with that cup. To the Google I went to see what it was and found out it was from the 1930's and made by the Kellogg company. My sister said they might have it. She loves this place so much they know her. When we walked in, we were offered tea, water or coffee. I had some peach and hibiscus tea. It was delicious. My sister had coffee. Upstairs is more newer things. They did have mini Dutch ovens which I'm going back for. Downstairs, they had all the glassware. While they had the vintage looking Jadite things, no measuring cup. It's still a lovely store and I will be back!

My first time here, but my wife has been several times in her girls weekends. What a neat stir to browse. They offer you a tea or a coffee when you enter and the staff is always close by to answer questions. We were trying to beat the heat, as it was close to 100° the day we were there, but we found a couple of kitchen gadgets we had to have and an upcoming anniversary present for our kids to boot!! I look forward to another bist the next trip to KC
