SOME of the employees are absolutely amazing.... Also, the store is usually kept pretty organized and categorized... there are hardly ever any (sales) special colored tags on the clothing tho...

Excellent store. Lots of selection, and they gave us an active duty military discount that allowed us to afford to buy a nice used bike for our 9.5 year old for Christmas. God bless them.

one of my favorite thrift stores in kansas city! they have such a great collection of everything. their prices aren't outrageous and actually are nice. they have clothes and shoes and anything else you can think of, they have it all. once a month they have 50% off clothing on a saturday along with city thrift and i always buy a lot and not spend a lot. they have a great rewards program and the staff is happy to help you with any questions.

I love shopping here. The store has been reorganized, so it makes it a lot easier to find clothes, shoes, books, and house decor. On Sundays there is a 75 cent tag along with the 50% off color tag and the 25% off color tag. I like this thrift store and its staff a lot better than city thrift which is right down the road. The staff here at Red Racks are respectful, and when you check out they make sure that you're taken care of. Prices do vary. Some I agree with and other I don't, but that's okay. I will be continuing to return again and again.

On thrift and salvage stores I have a theory, that their is a correlation to the more disorganized the store, better the treasure you find. I don't make it to this store a-lot but it was the most organized, neat and retail ever and couldn't find any great finds this time. In past found amazing new Adidas shoes, Chiefs shirts and more. I'm a guy and the have a ton of women's clothing. Still a great place, but seems that folks are possibly shopping more for deals in harder times. Vintage section is great, lots of Royals gear- hmmm ya think, furniture and more. Great mission of helping Veterans.

I always leave here spending more money than I intended. Good for them bag for me. The staff is always friendly and helpful... Make sure you sign up for the rewards! The fact that something is on sale everyday is a plus for me too.

Relatives wanted to shop here because the whole store was 50% off for the day--except for blue tag items. Blue tag items were the best designer labels for clothes--Brooks Brothers, Polo, etc.-/and priced higher. Some folks may find pricing here to be on the high side. However, retail prices are up everywhere due to increased overhead costs. Thrift stores are not immune even if the inventory is donated. There's a huge selection of clothes here and they're conveniently racked by size. There's also a pretty large selection of housewares and kitchen items, though many kitchen pans--especially Teflon ones--were well past usability. Media consists mostly of books. Other items are just thrown on shelves, racked haphazardly on wall hooks, or piled in corners. The front parking spaces along a one-way lane are very tight. To save car doors, opt for the side parking lot. Red Racks supports programs for the Disabled American Veterans (DAV).

Great store, well curated, sales every weekend. Red Racks in general is a good gig. Would be 5 stars but restroom out of order on our visit, which is a huge impediment to focused thrifting!
