I don't know very much about Sam's Club, but maybe this is what I should expect. They don't have as many healthy choices, such as gluten free items, like Costco does, and I felt their prices were higher, and for inferior products. This one really had the Walmart vibe, and I mean that not in a good way. The final straw for me was at checkout. The checker asked me if I wanted to upgrade my membership, and I said "no, thank you." At which point she got very passive aggressive in telling the cashier she was training not to bother offering me the credit card, as "people like me" were certain to reject the superior benefits of said card. She repeated herself three times to her trainee, so I know I did not mishear her. I felt like saying, "hey. I'm right here!" I was blown away by so much passive aggression to a new customer. I'm glad I still have my Costco membership. I guess it was a mistake to try Sam's Club.

Sam's Club usually very consistent no matter what location you go to. Now a days there are pretty much no cashiers and all lanes are self checkout. I recommend downloading their app and doing the scan and go so you can skip the self checkout lines.

After backing into the gas station I was met by an angry ole' man raising his voice telling me "you're not supposed to do that." and "if you don't like it you can go somewhere else." In the middle of his ranting another truck backed in an I told him to "go yell at that guy." The mere fact that they have this gas station set up to be 1-way whereas 70% of vehicles fuel up on the left side is as if they think people are so stupid not to just back up their vehicles. On top of that, they have hours at their gas station when they could easily be a 24 hour station if Wally Mart dished our 60 bucks to pay someone minimum wage to sit on their a*** I can see the Walmart overlords laughing at the angry ole' man every time he files a complaint because he has to deal with the people who think logically.

Very friendly and helpful staff, they really care about the customers and try to help them save money when they can’t afford their prescriptions!

It appears this Sam's Club intentionally made its gas lines longer. First the basics: They ask cars to enter all in the same direction. This is fine, and more efficient in theory. Unfortunately 80% of cars have gas caps on the left side. This still functioned when they had hoses that reached the far side of the car. But then they shortened the hoses, effectively making half of their lanes useless to 80% of cars. Now the right hand lanes are several cars deep while available spaces remain in the left hand lanes. Simple fix: Either allow entry from both directions, or bring back the extending hoses. I'm not sure how this basic concept eludes them.

Sams Club has all your food, household, medical and basically anything else you can think of. Customer service is lacking but I typically use the scan and go or pickup.

They recently shortened the gas pump hoses to force people to come in one direction. Now have to wait 12 cars deep to get gas. I burn the discounted gas price waiting i

I've been a Sam's Club member for nearly thirty years, and my company typically keeps about ten memberships at any point in time. These have always been the plus memberships, btw. Today I placed an order with them online, which should have been free shipping for plus members. I was charged shipping and when I called to complain I was told that my plus membership really wasn't. In my opinion, they aren't acting in good faith and have been ripping me off. I think I will be transferring my company's memberships over to Costco, they at least seem to care about customer satisfaction.

I have shopped this club for many years now and have always been pleased with the quality of the products and the prices. They offer "instant savings" to their club members about ever couple of months which allows you to receive an additional discount on top of their already low prices. The store is clean and the employees are friendly. In addition to the discounts on food and home products, they also offer discounts on fuel.

Good bulk food buys. However the DirectTV/Satellite salesmen need to go away- too aggressive and not being truthful about their programs they are selling.

I love Sam's club. I do all my shopping here. Employees are nice and helpful. They remember me and greet me. Nice selection of meat and fresh veggies.

Having had a membership at Costco for the past year, I opted for Sam's club this year instead, mainly because the location was more convenient, and Sam's club is $20 less per year. I still can't stomach very well the idea of paying to shop in a store though. The similarities between Costco and Sam's club are too numerous to mention. One main difference is that I don't have to show my Sam's card to get in to a Sam's club, unlike Costco. Sam's club also has a pay option that involves just your iPhone if desired, so you can skip the checkout line. I haven't tried it yet though. What is stocked at Sam's club is remarkably similar to what Costco stocks, and the prices are nearly identical as well. They both have a "hot food" side restaurant in store with ultra cheap eats. Costco had a huge Caesar salad though whereas Sam's doesn't have anything remotely healthy to serve, unless you count the jumbo-sized berry sundae made with real berries. There was also no distinguishable difference between the Sam's Polish dog and the regular hot dog, but maybe the server screwed up. Overall, if you need to buy bulk goods for vending machines or whatever, it's as good as any other bulk discount box store. I don't have a vending machine business so it's not of any great value to me.

Has most of the stuff that we need. We prefer Costco but if we're in the area then we'll grab our groceries from Sam's. Quality of clothes etc isn't as good as Costco but you can get most of the same stuff.
