I love shopping at Sam’s Club! Their sales are fantastic, and the products are pretty good quality for the price. It’s a great place to stock up on household essentials, and I always find great deals.
I’ve tried their pharmacy in the past, and while it wasn’t my favorite experience, I do appreciate their fair pricing. It’s a good option if you’re looking to save money on prescriptions.
Now, about the food court… Sam’s Club, we need to talk. Every time I stop by, the tables are a mess, the floors aren’t clean, and it feels a little chaotic. The employee working the café could definitely use some improvement in customer service—he always looks like he’d rather be anywhere else. Honestly, just looking at the food court makes me feel like I’m catching something. There were many empty tables to sit at but they all had nasty crap all over them. Saw employees standing/sitting around when they could maybe wipe a table or two.
That being said, I still love shopping here and will continue to do so. But please, Sam’s Club, let’s get the food court together!

I like shopping at this location all the time but we have waited over 40 minutes for our pickup and was supposed to take 10-15 minutes. Our baby is screaming and upset and all we ordered was toilet paper and paper tals never again am I ordering pick up and they had 1 person outside doing all the orders and then as I write this review they have 2 people now after 40 minutes and the person next to us got their pickup when we were here first

Sad to say but this is one of the worst Sams Clubs in the city.
Ill use today for example, stopped to the cafe before shopping, had to clean off our own table (this is typical), the line was SO LONG, so I used mobile ordering and went and sat down. 15 minutes later and still nothing. This has happened NUMEROUS TIMES. Long waits because they only have one person, and it never fails that one person isn't capable of working quickly and efficiently. It's also worry mentioning the condiment bar being filthy.
Their inventory never seems to be stocked as well as other local stores and you don't often deal with friendly employees. Overall wish another local sams club was closer.

They had most of what I was looking for. The carts are a bit wonky. The carts could use a good cleaning and fixing some wheels. Definitely appreciate the scan and go to make checkout super quick and easy!

I am sorry to have to write this review. I had the unfortunate pleasure of speaking with Allison, a pharmacist at the Sam’s Club Pharmacy there on Church Road. When I went to pick up a prescription, I forgot I had just been to the DMV to get my Drivers License replaced. They gave me a paper copy in the meantime, but I kept it in my glove box to avoid it getting torn up in my wallet. They wouldn’t except my drivers license because it was marked as void because of the order of the replacement, but I had asked if they were able to make an exception because it was not expired and it wasn’t being used for driving.
Allison could have told me, unfortunately she wasn’t able to, but instead said “that is a ridiculous question, you know better than that.” I don’t mind the pharmacy sticking to their policy but I feel leadership at any public facing store should know how to be respectful to their clientele and treat them with respect and not escalate a situation. I then asked if my wife could pick my prescription up for me and instead of saying, “yes”, she said… “your neighbor could pick it up.” Again, instead of being a leader in the pharmacy as I think her position would imply, she was showing the customer and the rest of the staff that it was okay to be rude and to escalate a situation. It is unfortunate but I did let her know that I thought the way she replied was extremely rude and that, even though Halloween ended the previous evening, that I thought she was wearing her Witch costume well. That with the way she acts, she is showing her staff that she is unable to perform her job in an appropriate manner and that I felt it was the opposite of what they would want in leadership at the pharmacy there. It seems like there is no urgency to provide the customer care I would expect out of any mature adult, not alone someone in leadership, but instead, they have chosen to double down on her bad attitude. Both the pharmacy agreed that I would not be returning. I hope they can get the attitude and arrogance adjusted so no one else has to deal with such an unfortunate experience, but I don’t feel that will happen anytime soon. I am disappointed, won’t be renewing my plus membership and will not be moving my commercial membership from Costco. Hopefully no one else has to deal with the unfortunate pleasure of working with Allison. This was after being misinformed about the status of a prescription the previous month. Just doesn’t seem to be run as it should be.

I placed an order to be delivered and they forgot to leave some of my items. I called the store and was transferred to a number where no one answered. Called back and got the phone number for online orders. They were less than pleasant and would not redeliver the items; told me to reorder them and pay the delivery fee since the items were less than the $50 minimum. I then placed an order to be picked up, only to find out one of my items was actually in stock at the Liberty, Mo store, but was removed from my order. I just had knee surgery for a torn meniscus and have trouble walking. So basically the item was there, but supply and demand required I walk in the store to purchase it. I am a very unsatisfied customer, but I doubt they care! I will take my business and weekly orders to Costco.

I would give you a 5 star BUT you need to get new soda/pop machines. It’s ridiculous how often they are not available. Thx u for finally carrying sour dough bread in the bakery. Though that is quite often empty as well. Then there is the gas prices. You realize W-M is lower on a daily bases on their gas prices w/o a so called membership perk. Last but not least relish is in fact available at a number Sams Club food courts so obviously relish is in fact available to order. Yes Gladstone store down the road has relish. Thus in your wagon wheel of deliveries. Thx u for all of your efforts they are appreciated. I know I just listed some complaints but if not listed how can we communicate with you so hopefully improvements can happen.

I like that I can go shop or just get snacks. We like the pizza ,pretzels & are fruit soft serves.
There great deals on 90% of the stuff. Some things are still a little higher. It is fun to wander around trying samples. We have found a few new iteams doing so. They have pork chops, premade meals, sushi, rotisserie chickes, salads, dessert breads, cakes, snacks, books, clothes, home products, eye glasses, jewelry, kids toys.....and much more!

Sam's club sent me this $10 off and refused to take it. They said it's only good if you are renewing your membership. But on the card, it says active membership is required to redeem and nothing about renewing an old membership. Don't send this to me if you are going to refuse to take it.

LIBERTY MISSOURI SAMS CLUB, SHAME ON YOU!
I have been a Sams Club business member for over 30 years. Today I had a terrible experience with the Liberty a Missouri location. Only one in line, a tall thin. young girl stood there watching me load on to the conveyor. I asked her to just go ahead and put the groceries in the one larger box. She left the groceries at the end of the conveyor, no thank you, no putting food in the cart, as one new customer approached. I interrupted, quietly and nicely said, " next time, I would like you to put these in my cart for me. She replies, "I cant take away from my customer to help you. I guess, I'm Not a customer,
I walked away, but asked to speak with amanager. A young, short red head appeared saying he was the manager. I asked him what their policy was on loading groceries. He said, "You put them on conveyor and you put them in cart". He added, " If someone's really nice. they'll help you, but they don't have to". I said that this was the very reason I prefer Costco who is no longer more expensive than Sams. I said I'm not sure I will be back to this location ever again. He said, " Yep, that's our policy"! IS THAT YOUR POLICY TO REFUSE TO HELP A CUSTOMER WHEN REQUESTED.
I was really shocked by all of this, because the North Oak location is so friendly and helpful. So I said something to the receipt checker. I said I've never experienced anything like this at Sams. Costco is so helpful, and loads and unloads everything for you. She says, " This is a warehouse "! I said that Costco is also a warehouse. She repliesd loudly, " Go to Costco then"!
It wasn't just one employee, It was the same attitude and mantra from checker. to manager
to the final face you see out the door.
I ASK,"IS IT WORTH A WAREHOUSE FEE For shopping retail prices, with no help, and complete rudeness and dismissals of customer service?

I went to Sam’s Club in Liberty yesterday (6-21) around 4-5pm. I know that they check all membership cards when you come in the store now, and that’s ok with me. I wasn’t quite prepared to show mine but was getting it out but the gentleman working the door did not ask to see mine. However, right behind me were two people and he did ask to see their cards. Why them and not me? Honestly the only real difference between them and myself was the color of our skin. They asked this gentleman working why they asked them and not me? I heard this and I stopped and turned around to see what he would say….. he said nothing! Really? Seriously? Is Sam’s Club racial profiling now? I stepped into their conversation and I wanted to know why as well. This man had nothing to say. He did not even have time to have a conversation about this. I’m sure this is nothing new to a lot of people, but I’m sick of it. And if I’m sick of it, I cannot even imagine what it’s like to live with this on a daily basis. I am so sorry to these two people…I don’t know you but you seem like very nice young men. This is part of what is wrong with our country. And that’s exactly what I said to the Sam’s Club employee. I am glad I stopped and stepped up for these two guys and I would do it again and again. I hope somebody from Sam’s Club reads this and stops this kind of behavior. Don’t hire people who have no tolerance for others. We are ALL Gods children…we need to ALL start acting like one.
