Science City at Union Station is a wonderful and excellent science museum, voted KC's Favorite Family-Friendly Attraction. It is a kid-centric place with something for everyone and for kids of every age, from toddler to early teen. The museum features three massive floors packed with more than 300 interactive exhibits and high-energy play spaces, both indoor and outdoor. Visitors can explore many different themed areas, including interactive robotics displays, live animals, an expansive water table, a dinosaur and fossil exhibit, and a physics-themed outdoor playground. There is tons of fascinating, interactive fun for adults to enjoy as well. Special demonstrations are awesome, and adventures are abundant. It takes several hours to see and do everything, making it the best place for family fun, especially during colder months. It is a go-to destination for safe fun, learning, and nurturing a lifelong love of discovery.
