They broke the HIPPA law by sharing very important information between employees about my brother-in-law having a medical condition that doesn’t affect his work ethic. Tom (the employer) needs to be fired.

I have a brother who works for Mayflower and his boss Tom broke a hippa law sharing personal information about my brother and his medical information to the rest of the team serious action needs to be taken.

Cassie, Jodie, Makayla, and Melissa were the real deal. They promptly came and got our entire house packed (2 adults and 2 kids) in less than a day. They were quick and friendly. I've seen many packers taking breaks at other homes--these ladies did not stop until the job was done. Great company of hard working, honest people! In such a hard season of getting help moving, this company is the best of the best--and very reliable. Answering any phone call or question we had with a smile. Way to go Select Van & Storage !!

Select Van & Storage provided us exceptional moving services a little over a month ago. Everyone, from Annie Gordy, who very effectively and accurately estimated our needs and continuously worked with us regarding our schedule needs. They were very flexible regarding this. Then...the packers. Wow! Cassandra Horton, Jodie Shotts and Cathryn Cramer were amazing. Extremely hard workers and very careful with our stuff. Then, the loaders & unloaders (which included Cassandra & Jodie again) were nothing short of great. Willing to do what it took to satisfy us, and were very careful with both our stuff and our home. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our experience with Select Van & Storage KC. I would highly recommend them to anyone moving. We only moved a couple of hours away, but everything they told us they would do, they did. Thank you Select Van & Storage.

Very unprofessional. They arrived two hours late on the one day this week that we had ice on the roads. I figured if they were choosing to come on that day, they would be prepared for the weather conditions. They refused to move anything into the garage until we left to buy rock salt for the driveway, even after I offered for them to pull in and park in the grass because I have a young child and did not want to take him out in the cold. They could not have cared less, and informed me that if I was unable to create safe moving conditions on such short notice, I would need to pay out of pocket to make other arrangements for my things. Eventually, we had to run to the store while they sat in the truck and waited. The lack of professionalism was very uncomfortable- it was clear they did not enjoy their job. I would sooner gather strangers off the street to assist me in moving than hire this company again.

If I could give zero stars I would! First, they rescheduled our loading date without clearing through our military move coordinator. They then would not answer their calls. They didn't adequately plan for the size of our move and decided it would be acceptable to put our household items on a lift gate attached to the OUTSIDE BACK END of the moving truck. They placed items like mattresses, box springs, and other indoor items outside the truck to sit for a cross country move. I told them this was unacceptable and so they removed the items and claimed they would return in 2 days to pick up the remaining items. When contacted Monday they said they would arrive ANYTIME BEFORE 3 pm. Being military we only have a short amount of time until we need to report to the next duty station and now we are delayed 3 days. I've never been more disappointed in moving service and I don't have faith my belongings will arrive safely or in a timely manner. If you have a choice DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!!!
