Went to get my pet spayed. I understand the wait can take up to an hour but when I reached hour two of waiting someone finally came out saying "I'm sorry I don't know how but we completely skipped over". I ordered the spa treatment which is nail clipping, ear cleaning and anal gland expression. When we picked her up only one nail was cut, it was cut way too short and the others weren't touched. When I called to tell them they said they did clip all of them.

Unacceptable wait time. Sitting in our vehicle for over an hour for routine vaccinations is completely avoidable. Our pet is docile but I feel for pet owners with young animals who had to endure the wait. Facility is poorly run. We will not return.

Very reasonable and good with my dogs! You just need a little patience when checking in or out and be respectful of others. They offer a lot of medical treatments for animals at lower price than you will get anywhere.

They operated on my dog (Dopey) there. He had a big lump that was in a bad place for a mature dog. They were great about letting us know the risks and most recover quickly! However, he was in the small percentage that didn't. I was a mess as he ended up getting a SEVERE infection. The group held my hand and told me, "He can recover from this. It's not his time yet." We thought we were going to lose him. We didn't. The road was long and they held our hand through it. Thank God he made a full recovery!! Then came even harder news. We found out the lump was early cancer. They were empathic and again told me, "It's not his time yet! Still has more love to give". We are loving every minute/day we have with him. Plus, they told me what to feed him while he recovered. It helped out so much, that he lost some weight and is acting like a spunky puppy again. Thank you so much for caring Pet Resource Center. You all were great.

This place is a scam. They claim that they can work with you on handling cost. What they mean by that is bank statements, social security number, and utility bills be provided to them to "prove" you can't afford their spay/neuter fee. Their registration is glitchy. Now that they have my phone number and email I'm being harassed by spam from them, even though I canceled the appointments. Pretty sure the whole thing is a scam to get people's info to sell to other companies. The social security number thing was the biggest red flag. That's when I canceled the appointments. I looked at other bad reviews and I'm so glad I didn't take my cats there! they sound awful. and the good reviews honestly look mostly fake.

The Pet Resource Center is a gem in this community! They provide low cost care for pets in the metro area. I've been coming to them for about 2 years now. I first discovered them in a Facebook ad, and I gave user them faithfully ever since. They have provided urgent care assistance , chipped and vaccinated my dog. The staff is very knowledgeable, and so patient with all of the patients they tend to. --. If you're not able to make it over to Troost, they offer Sit N Serves all over the city, and they also have a mobile service available.

Really cheap and very friendly! Just be ready to wait for 30min- 1hr, but can't really complain about waiting when you're getting a bargain or paying up to nothing.

I read both good and bad reviews before making the decision to get our standard poodle neutered. we have a healthy 3 year old standard poodle who has no complications other than separation anxiety and leash aggression. we made the decision to get him neutered last week in hopes that it would help with his aggression. everything went well after procedure he took his meds for 7 days and wore his cone. our dog seemed fine.day 8 his sac was red and swollen we called and left a message.on morning of day 9 it was worse so we took him back in they said that the swelling can happen and that its most likely just swollen tissue and told us if it gets worse bring him back in. inflammation meds were given and was told to use cold compressesday 10 was even worse the sac was bigger and split open and was leaking fluids so we took him back in at this point they said it was infected and though it was seeping fluids they did not want to suture it in case it filled back up. And sent us home with antibacterial meds plus pain meds. Today is day 11 the hole in his sac is even bigger because the fluids have leaked and the swelling is no more and now were taking him in to an emergency vet for evaluation. update: due to pet resource being closed we took him in for eval and they also said to leave it open even though its bigger bc its still infected. that a revision may be needed later on. stitches are still intact.
