I moved in about a month ago and absolutely love it here! I was fortunate enough to get a beautiful patio and my dog is as obsessed with it as I am.

I really love these loft style apartments. Many of them seem to be newly renovated. They have a great community space. This is such a great location. My encounters with the staff and management have been very positive.

The new management staff is HORRIBLE! Do not rent from them!!!I went to a showing and applied that day. Time went by and I never heard anything back. When I did finally email them, the leasing guy was so rude and passive aggressive. I want my application fee back considering this management company took my money and then ghosted me until I reached out. they are a MESS!!!!

By far one of the best apartment complexes I've ever lived in. The staff/management is so kind and helpful and the apartments are nice and spacious. If you are looking for a cool industrial style apartment, located in an amazing part of town, that also is affordable... this is it!!

Dog feces can always be found in the stairwells of this building. Management is no help. Further the parking lot is a rip off and overall pain. Often you will find the gate not working or being asked to park on the street because maintenance is occurring on the building next to the lot.

COCKROACHESI’ve lived here for 1.5 years and recently noticed a cockroach issue. I’m trying to terminated my lease due to the living conditions. Getting pest control to come regularly is impossible because they only come during work hours and every time they come while I’m at work, the people in the front office fail to let them into my apartment to spray. It’s a nightmare.

I absolutely love it here!! Yes, I can hear every move and detail of my neighbors through my bedroom/bathroom wall...but that is going to be the case with any old building. I've really grown to appreciate the sounds/noise in the Crossroads area. Moving from the suburbs, I was wanting exactly this; noise and the sound of people and the city. The location is amazing. The staff is incredibly nice, communicative, and up beat. I really love and enjoy the size and layout of my space. The maintenance staff is friendly and any tickets I've put in have always been handled within 24-48 hours. I would say the only draw backs are the pet owners who let their dogs pee and #2 in the stairwells, halls, parking lot (and don't clean it up) and the individuals smoking cigarettes from their balcony/out of their windows - as smoking isn't allowed on the property. That isn't on the property managers, office staff or maintenance team. That falls on the adults that don't feel the need to respect their neighbors/other tenants in the building. They are currently updating the property; to include the kitchens, gym space, laundry room, and common areas. Excited to see the finished areas and use them!! I definitely recommend this place to anyone that I hear mention wanting to live downtown. My loft is west facing and I do have one that has a balcony; which I recommend spending the money on if one is available! GOOGLE Fiber is the better internet provider and it was EASY to setup myself. The location is close enough to have groceries delivered from Whole Foods and Target. Restaurant/bar choices are endless here and some of the best. Catching an Uber to Westport, the Plaza, Brookside, and Waldo is easy and affordable - if you're looking to add range to your scenery. This would include getting to Loose Park for people watching, biking, enjoying the park, and/or just walking the sidewalks for some fresh air. You are within walking distance to EVERYTHING; Union Station/Science City, The World War I Memorial & Museum, KCPL district, River Market, the Kauffman Center, Sprint Center, Bartle Hall, the West side, even Southwest Blvd restaurants. The light rail is about a 7 minute walk. You can hop on this, if you prefer not to walk and ride down to KCPL to grab groceries from Consentino's Market, pick up a prescription from CVS, watch a movie at Alamo Drafthouse, and workout at OneLife Fitness. Drive time to airport is 20-30 minutes (the latter if there is traffic). If you have kids and are contemplating escaping from the suburbs, there are families in the building - kids of all ages. The diversity of people living in the building is one of my favorite things about Stuart Hall Lofts!

Bravo to the maintenance crew this winter for keeping the sidewalks and paths snow and ice free!!!
