No where does it say you have to be a patient or there with a patient to pick up an order. I ordered on the app and paid for it on the app after walking all the way over there from the Sheridan that was informed that I could not go in and get it!

Yeah this Subway doesn't let you know it's not open to the public until after you order and spend money. This location is ran by crooks. Do not order from this location.

This Subway, located inside Children's Mercy Hospital, is kinda like other Subways -- with several exceptions. They do not accept Subway coupons or loyalty program discounts. They have a much more limited ingredient selection than other restaurants. And most of this is hidden until you get to the register to pay for your order - not the surprise you want when trying to get lunch while waiting on your child to come out of surgery. PROS It's a Subway. They have sandwiches. You can (mostly) customize it the way you want. Not sure I'd call it artistry, but hey, it's a fast food sub sandwich. CONS Subway sends our family coupons, and we knew we would be at Children's Mercy for a complex surgery for one of our kids. We also knew that Subway was the only food option at the hospital besides the cafeteria - so we thought we'd use some good coupons to make lunch a bit more bearable on a hard day. Come to find out, at the register, that they don't accept coupons (even though they have a sign that claims they do for certain sandwiches). I don't know about the policies of "Subway Corporate" or if this location is a special case -- and frankly, I don't care. What I do know is when my wife and I were tired, stressed, and looking for lunch we got a lecture from the manager on how "they don't have to accept our coupon." OVERALL Congratulations to Subway for cornering the market of stressed and worried families. I guess it helps your bottom line by saving a few percentage points here and there on families hoping to save a buck or two with a coupon, but I know over the coming weeks while our kid is here, we will go anywhere else for our meals besides Subway. I may love my Footlong Spicy Italian, but not when it comes with a side of bait-and-switch.

Elise the lady preparing my food was very rude she used profanity and with this location being a childrens hospital I was very concerned with the service. Will not be going back until she is gone doubt she will be there long.

This is for patients and visits of patients only. Was told I could not go to it when I get to the hospital. Called the store and they said they could not bring it to me or refund me so I submitted a request online and didn't receive a response

Convenient for patient's, employees, visitors, and contractors. It allows everyone to get some mainstream healthy fast food.
