If you love finding new people in your community & The Black Box has an exciting event that interests you, GO! The Black Box NEVER MISSES. Good stuff is always happening here. I just participated in an all-day D&D epic (with SEVERAL tables) all working to accomplish the same goals. It was AWESOME. They also do plays, musicals, concerts, and a ton of other things I can’t remember. But if you’re interested in ANY OF IT, I say you owe it to yourself to go. Good times always! 🥲👍🏼

Have been going to Black Box for years!
It is an inclusive and safe place! We just had Peoples Pride there!
Drinks are amazing and staff is fantabulous!

I have seen music shows there, classic plays, original plays and so much more. Everything they do there is that the highest level both in terms of talent and fun. Every city should have a venue like this.

Quaint theater. Stage is a nice size for small shows (and karaoke on Mondays!). For me, the large outdoor space is the best part, and there's a stage out there too! Highly recommend for a show or just to hang out 😊

So good! Best theater in town.
I was able to attend a staged reading of Ghost last Sunday and it was hilarious to point of cheek fatigue. This is the place to find yourself. The quality of entertainment that Black Box cultivates is a vital part of KC's spirit. And a Living! Room... legacy to all their previous endeavors. We're fortunate to have the people who create in, facilitate and operate this unique space.

I had the absolute BEST experience with The Black Box! I rented this venue for a surprise party for my wife and Vanessa and Heidi were a joy to work with. I had no problems or issues and would very strongly recommend using them in the future!
