I was so disappointed during my pedicure here. I used to come here all the time until I moved to another state. I visited town recently and decided to treat myself to a pedicure and was so disappointed! First off, the entire building smelled like weed. I was the first customer in there for a 10 am appointment so I know it was not other customers causing that smell. Second, the water for my feet was cold and when I said something about it, the lady just filled the rest of the bowl up with hot water so the warmest it got was maybe room temperature. The “hot towels” were not hot either. And lastly, the “massage” that was included in the package I upgraded to was not a massage, just the lady rubbing lotion on my legs. And not even with any pressure. I am in my third trimester of pregnancy and was really looking forward to that part, especially after a 8 hour car ride. This place has really gone downhill and I won’t be recommending it anymore.

I love the lacquer room. I’m a loyal customer for 3 years and I’m always pleased with both my nails and the customer service, except when Amy does my nails. My tech Amy was giving me off vibes, never greeting me and was quite rude. She felt offended when I pointed out my dissatisfaction with a certain nail. She then told me that my nail shape wouldn’t have been weird and flared if I would just cut my natural nails down and added a tip…. In the beginning she attempted cutting my natural nails twice, when I told her I wanted to keep the length and add tips. I told her i’m trying to grow them out which is why I requested to keep the length. My nails look good, but I’m slightly disappointed with my experience, which seems to be re-occurant only with this nail tech.

Mai is the absolute best and I followed her to The Lacquer Room from her last place. Happily, I like this nail salon better! FYI...the jelly pedi is to die for.

I love having my nails done here. Vu does a great job. I just get simple gel, but tons of compliments! I've never needed to come back for a fix or had any major problems after about a year and a half of appointments.
Sometimes I have to wait a little, but that is part of booking that last time slot of the day, sometimes other appointments have run over or people have shown up late.

this is my second time giving this establishment a chance, and each time has been a disappointment. we had reservations at a specific time & were not made priority. we waited an hour for anyone to talk to us. my sister, who was getting a pedicure, had to sit in cold water because no one was available to work on her. i have had my dip nails for LESS THAN A WEEK and the polish has already peeled. the nail tech took 2 hours to do an extremely simple design (keeping me past their closing time), and my nails are not smooth and some of the nails are crooked. i could not ask to fix any mistakes because it was too close to the shop’s closing time & half the staff was gone by the time i was able to sit down and begin my nails. i paid $70 for these unacceptable nails. EXTREMELY disappointed, especially because the staff are so nice. do NOT recommend. will not be returning.

Tracy did such a wonderful job on my nails!! She made them so perfect and payed attention to all of the things that other stylist (at other salons) haven’t payed attention to. Will definitely be coming back for her!!!
