Great finds at thrift store prices - the way it should be. Very helpful staff. Got a Gauguin for $9.50 and a Basset dresser for $38 and they deliver (for a fee).

I grew up close to this neighborhood and I am very happy to see this business open on 39th and Troost. I’ve given many things to this business in hopes that it can help many people that shop here. I like browsing in the store just to feel connected to the community. I hope that they maintain their business and continue to help people in the community. Once I give something I’m trusting for the best in that it will help someone. I hope that everyone will help their neighbor.

A cozy little thrift shop with actual "thrifty" prices. Found some awesome things at this spot.

If I donate to this store I expect my donations to be used for this community ONLY. That isn't happening because when I visited the store over and over and over I saw only some items displayed while others hadn't made the shelves. Please stop taking nicer things for yourselves and your friends. Telling me I "should take my donations to other places if I have concerns" is a non-starter that isn't conducive to compelling future donations from me or others I know. That is not a proper way to address someone who is eager to donate to this store & concerned about where donations are going. I was given conflicting reasons for why certain items of mine aren't displayed. I believe, no I know all my things aren't making it to this community. This is the 2nd time. It is concerning if the workers lie about it. Please don't patronize me with lies about my donations making it to this community. I check. I always check. I will continue to always check because now I don't trust you.

Today was my first day coming inside. I only had a little money but all my kids was able to get toys and also got some shoes. I only paid $10.50 for everything. I have three kids, I can’t believe I haven’t went inside before. Thank God for this thrift store because we will come back really soon.

Small, but packed with great stuff. I love how they keep their prices low even through inflation, hoping to serve the immediate community who may not otherwise be able to afford a nice interview outfit or set of dishes for a new apartment (for example). Like I said, fairly small location but they have a little bit of everything - clothes, shoes, home goods, art supplies, bags, furniture, lamps, electronics, outdoor stuff, rugs, etc. I usually always find at least a couple things when I go there, and as mentioned, typically for an awesome price. One of my favorite thrift stores in the KC metro. The only “downside” is their proximity to social services organizations that serve the socioeconomically disadvantaged, as well as bus station on 39th and Troost, etc. Unfortunately, some of the individuals that are wandering right outside can be a little mean-spirited/aggressive; last time I was there, just a few days ago, a man was outside yelling vulgarities at me and demanding I “get out of there.” Semi-threatening. It feels completely safe inside the store, and there is a nice large parking lot with decorative fence, but I’d recommend locking car/securing valuables/etc. Not at all a fault of the thrift store, just an unfortunate circumstance of an unfortunate economy and our society’s failure to adequately respect and support disadvantaged populations. I’d be angry, too.All in all, definitely recommend shopping here and supporting this thrift store’s mission.

Doors are often locked in the middle of the day even though hours are posted 10am-4pm. This has happened to me 3 different times.

A superb and unique selection of clothing for women & men. Especially love the monthly theme events where the thrift shop changes up inventory. Super easy to donate too as well!

I found this lovely thrift store tucked right beneath a section of the High-Line walking trail. To my surprise I saw that they carry a beautiful rotating collection of second hand items, and even one of a kind pieces. Thank you for being in business.
