I have been working with this company for almost 2 years now and I've always received the upmost quality and professionalism. I wont go to any other location because they always treat me extremely well here. They're honest and just good people. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone.

Reserved a truck and they were randomly closed at the date of pick up without notice via email or text. Then when we finally got it a week later, the guy at the desk was very cryptic, unhelpful and not knowledgeable. The van that we rented was making a bunch of noises that are not normal and the brakes were malfunctioning. The van had litter stuffed into the back that we had to throw away because we didn’t want to be charged even though it is not our responsibility. Won’t be returning to this location.

So. First off the people were nice. No issues there. BUT, I mistakenly forgot to record the starting mileage. I kept the truck an extra day. Called to make a payment. They were trying to charge me over $1200.00. apparently they thought it was in the realm of possibly to drive a U-Haul over 1000 miles in less than 26 hours while staying in the Kansas City area. It was a nightmare to take care of this. The U-Haul customer service was laughably rude. Sorry I assumed they had competent employees recording mileage.

I rented a Uhaul for 9:00AM two weeks before my move. When I arrived at 9:00AM the store was closed. The hours posted on the door of the store said they were closed on Sundays.I called Uhaul and was on hold for over an hour trying to figure out the problem, when the manager of the store arrived at 10:00AM.I asked him why the hours on the door say closed on Sundays and he said that is his other business. (The door doesn't specify which business in open at what hours)When I asked him about why my reservation at 9:00AM was granted when the store doesn't open until 10:00AM, he said it's not his problem, that is Uhaul's problem.The entire time he kept being assertive with me, telling me I needed to calm down and that he didn't do anything wrong and it's not his problem that the reservation was made an hour before the store opened.This place does not have their stuff together. Wrong hours posted on the door, reservations made when the store isn't even open, bad customer service. I'd save my time and money and go else-wear.

Worst experience. They said they sent an email. BS. They did not, and they tried to charge us for gas. This place is ran by clowns who don’t know customer service. Look elsewhere.

Was frustrated, no one was there to accept my return of the rental. The door even indicated they should be open but not on this day.

They never checked in my Uhaul upon return now the location I got it from (127th Murlen) lady is being SUPER rude & disrespectful, threatening extra late fees, breach of contract etc. ALL over this dudes mistake! Returned the Uhaul during business hrs (was told i was good to go & receipt would be emailed)Well… it was NEVER emailed or apparently checked back in. 4 days later they are calling me asking where its at. Whats the deal??? something not right is going on. Stay away!

I rented a car dolly that had bad wheel bearings and it was bouncing all over the road I was unable to use it I called and informed them I was unable to use it when I bought it back I let them know the bearings were bad and I was unable to use it and I would like a refund or another car dolly so I could get the job done but I was not offered either one I was just told that that's the way it was and it works. ?

Wornall road store lock boxes did not work. Had to move my reservation to another store and wait an hour for them to open.

I have never forgotten this. I reserved a U-Haul with these guys, in person, in order to move. My wife was pregnant, and we had just bought a new house. Plus, I had sold them some used tires the week before, so I felt like we had some kind of business connection. The day of the move came, and I went to get our U-Haul with my confirmation info in hand, and the guy had none for me. They had double booked a bunch of units, and he wasn't phased that I had written documentation. I explained that we had to leave our apartment. I waited for an hour, and he couldn't make anything happen. He looked me in the eye and told me he'd call me as soon as he found us a unit, which would be that day. In the meantime, I called all my friends with vans or SUVs, and we managed to do it all in like, 20 trips. I called and checked in multiple times, and he said he was still looking. Of course, I never heard from U-Haul, I never got a truck. Not even an apology. A man's word means nothing here.

The door says closing time is at 6 pm but there was no one there at 5:15 and even U-Haul corporate couldn't find anyone.
