I made an appointment with a specific person and arrived 5 minutes late and was told they were already seeing someone else. 5 minutes late, no more. They asked me to wait 10 minutes. After 20 minutes, someone came out and asked if they could see me! I told them it wasn't the person I made the appointment with! They replied (or didn't come to work today! ... I don't know why they didn't let me know so they wouldn't waste my time. Another time, I went without an appointment and was told they would want to see me in 10 minutes. Those 10 minutes turned into 50 and I was told they couldn't see me without an appointment.

The staff were extremely helpful and I love how they helped each other to get the job at hand done...very friendly. I have been a customer for many many years and will definitely continue to be one.

Jordan, the Assistant Branch Manager met me with a great smile, and had a degree of professionalism that I rarely see nowadays. She was very knowledgeable of all the products UMB has to offer. I am glad that I am leaving my current bank of 22 years, and actually this week I will be moving all my business accounts to UMB as well, all because of the great customer service I have received from Jordan.

I have banked with UMB for over 20 years. Two times now my husband has been given unprofessional treatment from this branch. They seem to be picking and choosing how to do things instead of following a common rule. I completely understand if you don’t know an answer to a certain situation, but don’t rush through just to give the customer a quick answer or fix. Because then you don’t honor what had been previously stated(in paper form, not word). Unfortunately my family with be switching banks after this second experience.

A sad example of needing to know the businesses that you entrust your finances to. I was met with statements about the LGBTQ community that have no business in a business.

I went to my local UMB for an issue I was having and two of the representatives and myself ended up laughing and joking around making my banking issue that day a great experience!

Recently my wife needed a new checking account. After extensive review she tried a different bank than UMB. The other bank was very intrusive into our personal life and was haughty when pointed out.
UMB on the other hand, brought us in, sat us down, and worked up the account we needed in a matter of minutes.
AND two weeks later we got a call at home from the Branch Manager asking if the account was OK and could she do anything else for us!
With this kind of service, who needs any other bank?
