I can see why this location is reviewed so poorly. Without looking at my Mother's vehicle after a minor collision, they determined that the vehicle was unsafe to drive and that she needed to get a rental car and leave her vehicle with them to look at on Mondayn they would then make an estimate for her insurance. I was assured by Tiffany that any repairs would be over my Mother's 500 dollar insurance deductible. When I attempted to argue that the collision of a 63 lb dog chasing a squirrel and running into a parked car would be very unlikely to have caused catastrophic damage I was meet with a disapproving glare. Thankfully I went with my mom to this appointment as I was able to direct her to a different shop a few minutes away where the manager popped the fender back into place with practiced ease.

Terrible experience. The staff was incredibly unprofessional. When I said I wanted to pay for some repairs out of pocket, they literally threatened to charge me a daily fee unless I gave them my insurance. Very quickly called their bluff and made other plans for the repair.

I had a fantastic experience with Van Collision. I chose them because they are one of the few certified Subaru collision repair shops in the KC area. They were easy to contact and provided excellent customer service. The quote was accurate, and the repair time was exactly as promised. I'm very pleased with the seamless repair and highly recommend their services.

They did a great job with my Subaru!! Mark and Josh at the collision center provided excellent customer service answer all my questions and helping coordinate with my insurance. As this was my first ever incident, it was nice to have everything clearly explained and properly taken care of. Thanks to everyone I didn’t meet that help work on my vehicle!

Why is Zero stars not an option? Do not ever take your vehicle to this shop. I dropped my vehicle off two weeks ago. I was told I’d have an update in a few days. That came and went. So I called after a week. Tiffany answered and said she sent someone out to look at the status of my vehicle and they’d call me back. I never received a call. It was very near closing time on a Friday so I let it go. Thought to myself “ I’ll call on Monday”. Called Monday. No answer. Ok. It was lunch time. Maybe they are lunch. Still not mad at this point. Kind of annoyed but hey lots of parts are on back order so I anticipated this taking several weeks. Fast forward to Thursday. They’ve had my car nearly 2 weeks. I call. I get the very sweet Tiffany lady again. I asked for an update and told her no one had called me back. She apologized and got the manager. I thought ok. I don’t really need a manager for this but alright we are getting somewhere I suppose. This is where it gets ugly. He picks up the phone and in a very annoyed tone proceeds to tell me that he spoke to me an hour ago and that nothing has changed. I try to tell him I think he has me confused with someone else. He interrupts me and proceeds to say my name and car model. That concerns me because once again I have spoke to no one about my car. I try to explain I have received no calls. He once again interrupted me and rose his voice and declares I return my phone calls. Ask anyone! I said, that’s great I however didn’t receive one. He Interrupts me again to reiterate that I can ask anyone about him and that he returns his calls. At this point this is where I lose my cool and literally tell him stop talking for one minute. He didn’t like that. Expletives were exchanged. I asked for his boss. He replies I am the boss. I said ok great. Everyone has a boss. You aren’t the owner. Who’s your boss? He interrupts me again. At some point I just tell him to put the car back together. I’ll come get my car. We argue more. Expletives are exchanged. He tells me to come get my car. So I did the next morning. It continues to get worse. The GM has been unreachable. I called my insurance company to report the incident. Too late the collision center had. Insurance asked what I’d like to see done? I said I sought resolution with Van. I’m willing to chalk it up to a bad day. Mark at Van had other ideas. He is unwilling to rectify the situation. Apparently Mark likes bullying people but isn’t too keen on having it served right back. Bully’s rarely do. So instead of just handling the situation and working it out he’d rather just move on. The best part is that when I called my insurance they informed me my initial bid for repairs was due today!!! So they sat with my car for two weeks. In what world does it take two weeks to do an estimate? It truly is a shame how this all went down. This man clearly has zero training in customer service. He wouldn’t listen. He just assumed. He was rude and condescending when really all needed to know was how long I need to borrower my friends extra vehicle while they worked on my repairs.
Avoid this place. It was an absolute nightmare. Literally one of the worst experiences in customer service I have ever experienced. And to quote Mark The Bully, “ask anyone about me” I’m a pretty laid back guy.

Liars and do not keep you in the loop on your car. I first filled out paper work, to get literally just my front bumper repaired from a raccoon, almost 3 months ago now. i hadn't heard from them in 2 months after they had told me 2 WEEKS. I had to call them after the 2 MONTHS and ask what was going on. They very conveniently had somehow gotten my parts THAT day I was calling 2 months after filling out paper work, that seemed weird but I was just happy they were finally getting my car in. I then took my car in, they told me 5 days. 5 days passed and I had heard NOTHING from them again so I called and they said it wasn't going to be ready until some time the next week, okay. So the next week I get a call saying my car would be ready the next day. The next day comes around and I hear NOTHING i had to call an hour before they were closing for them to tell me it wasn't going to be ready that day. To say I'm frustrated is an understatement. I will never be back to this body shop or even anything associated with the Vans shops in general, please save your time and money and go else where.

**Beware of this collision center** The insurance company suggested I take my car here, after a hit and run. The receptionist was courteous, very friendly and professional. She kept asking me, was I all right. After the 3rd time, I wondered was I meeting the devil or sata. This man was the worst. He was curt, gruff, short and unprofessional. He went to my car with me, supposedly checked out everything. A few minutes later, he said I need your keys to get the mileage. I thought to myself, what dodo doesn't get all of the information, the first time. Even though he had an office, he was talking loud in front of everyone. I had taken my car to two other dealerships. Both women were very business like, courteous and very professional. What an arrogant jackass!! ????

Extremely unprofessional, we had severe damage to our car during a storm. Our insurance agent spoke with Jadey and had been promised our car would be seen within a week which was when they had availability. We tried calling Jadey multiple times to schedule the time to go in and drop the car off, but were sent to voice-mail each time. After leaving a voicemail and trying to contact Van Chevrolet multiple times we went in to the collision center physically. When we arrived we met Jadey and she explained how she LIED to our insurance agent about being able to get us in quickly and told us we would have to wait over 4 weeks until the mid July. She LIED to our insurance agent and us just to try and get business, now we will make sure to never ever come to this collision center. She explained and tried to excuse her LIES by insing that the car we drove for them to see there was not drivable due to the sunroof being broken(we patched it up temporarily). I would not trust someone who lies about being able to fix my car and wasting our time with the actual repairs. Horrible customer service and zero respect for a customer. I wouldn't suggest anyone ever get repairs here.
