I've been using Williams Tax & Accounting since 2019 and Shawn has been so helpful with my taxes over the years. I've gone from a single-mom with multiple incomes to being married, kids, and military. Definitely a huge help with my husband and I! We highly recommend the service they provide!

Was thinking about talking with a tax professional for some advice, but at $180 an hour for a phone consultation, I'll figure it out myself and then be able to do it every year thereafter, I'll pay myself.

i called this company in the AM. They then call me in the PM only to tell me that I would need to delay filing my Taxes and file an extension up to May. 2022. If I owe taxes they want me estimate and send IRS a guessed amount of taxes owed. Really disappointed with this company. The site should say they can't help anyone right now. March 24, 2022

Williams Tax & Accounting handles both my personal and business returns. I've been very happy! Shawn is not only a qualified CPA, he is very responsive to questions. I appreciate that he is willing to take the time to explain things I may not have a grasp on.

Saw the good Google reviews gave them a call waited a week to have a appointment. Had phone consultation was told a quote and breakdown of services would be emailed to me next day. A week later still no response. I’ve called and emailed with no response. I’ve now wasted 3 weeks of time waiting when I could of been looking for an accountant that actually wanted my business instead of being blown off.

I had recently moved to Platte City from New York and had retired from a military career. I was looking for an accountent and I stumbled upon Shawn. He was young and energetic and well spoken. He answered a bunch of questions and helped me feel comfortable utilizing his services. He was up on the tax changes and at the end of the day, this was the best $360 I have spent in a long time. Thanks Shawn, I will be back next year and will utilize your knowledge of tax law in the future.

I met with Shawn Williams to help resolve a very odd tax problem that dated back to 2001, that after 2 meetings it appears was a mistake made by the IRS. He is very thorough, patient and willing to help - and he helped me without charging even though I offered to pay for his services. His company offers a one hour consultation for free - I got two consultations for free. I think anyone who has a tax issue would find him to be a great help!
