Uhaul located inside of Ace Hardware. Friendly and helpful staff from registers to the guys in the yard.The gentleman who checked our truck in was beyond helpful and saved us a few bucks as well....The hardware store carries everything you could possibly need including a small Hallmark store. Well worth staying in Kearney to avoid big box stores.....

Awesome staff.I had rented a uhaul towing dolly from another location and along the way the brake light popped out. I stopped at their location, and while they were unable to help because uhaul doesn't give them spare parts, they were very friendly and helpful. They didn't have to spend any time with me looking over the vehicle, but they did and i truly appreciate it.I'd definitely recommend this location for not only their uhaul needs but hardware needs.

The guys here were great! I was returning a 5x8 covered trailer that I had towed from Oregon... And I wanted it OFF MY TRUCK! Those small trailers are more of a challenge to tow than my 34' travel trailer!They were very nice, efficient & helpful at this location.Thanks Porter's employees!

The Porter's U haul in Kearney Mo.faiiled badly today, Rented a u haul truck from them yesterday, they rented my husband a Truck which wasn't full on fuel it was sitting on 3/4 of a tank we took it back within 5 hour's also put $5.00 back in the gas put it where it was when we got it and was charged $4.12 to fill it up the rest of the way, there paperwork doesn't state that you have to check it in thru their app when you drop it off or you will be charged a $20.00 fee for them to check it in which is a bunch of B'S because that is what they get paid for to do their job not us do it for them also when I called them and brought this to there attention I was treated as that wasn't true I have also witnessed the young guy who rented a truck right before we picked up our rental the kid pulled the uhaul truck out didn't get it in gear before he got out of the truck it was rolling forward he had to jump back into the uhaul truck and put it back in gear oh the fuel was told to that same young guy that it wasn't full on fuel he also said to fill it back to where we first got it which we did and still got charged. We have never had this problem before going thru uhaul but I don't even give them a ? rating because they don't deserve it. Had to put it because I couldn't go any lower on the star scale. Oh also it was re-rented before the 24 hour's was up so they doubled there money on that truck so don't return it untill your 24 hour's is up because they will take your money and screw you when it comes down to returning it.
