“American Automotive is not just a mechanic shop- it has been a family business that my amazing Dad has poured his heart and soul into. He has used this place to not only fix vehicles, but to foster meaningful conversations, share the gospel, offer encouraging words to others, and to give God all the glory for everything He has done in his life and through this business. Alongside my Dad, my step-mom, Lisa, has done just the same. She has been the kindest, most precious smiling face that greets you as soon as you walk through the door. After talking with her, you are sure to have a better day, and leave with a smile on your face. The business would not be what it is without these two.
Congratulations on a job well done, Dad and Lisa! You both inspire me more than I can describe. I am so proud of you both, and I am so grateful for you! Thank you for working so hard for your family- your dedication to us and our community is so encouraging and appreciated!”
“I had my 92 Chevy pick up aligned in 2012, I put over 175,000 miles on that truck with 2 sets of tires, I sold the truck in 2020 and it still was perfectly aligned. No drift, no pull and zero uneven tire wear.”
“Needed some tires installed and the tpms activated or put in “learn” mode. They were able to install my tires AND fix my tpms when I was told by another tire shop that they didn’t work. They were very accommodating to the service I needed done and got everything done in a quick and timely matter. If you’re in kennett and need good quality service done (oil changes, tires installed, rotated, etc) I HIGHLY recommend Gibson’s Quick Lube. They are two very nice, respectable and “get it done” young men…. Go check them out.”
“Can’t beat Jody, i just went late in the day to make an appointment and he put my ride up on the rack and worked on my mail car with a hot pipes. Had me fixed up in 30 min”
“They got my truck right in for repair, and parked with my insurance company. Had my truck done in a timely manner and when I picked it up it had been detailed. We would highly recommend my truck looks brand new.”

“Got stranded in Kennett and the vehicle wouldn't start. Walked 2 blocks and 2 mechanics came looked at it and it couldn't be fixed. But the guys were courteous and called a tow truck to take our truck back to Malden. Didn't charge us. ?”
“The owner was really knowledgeable and helpful... Although they DIDN'T do the work on my vehicle... They pointed me in the right direction and I was grateful for that... Highly recommend these guys based on honesty and customer service!!!”
“I had a tire on my van blow out and I was traveling and got to Kennett MO Walmart auto center 20 minutes before they were supposed to close but they didn't even hesitate about it being so close to closing they squeezed me in and put a new tire on so I wasn't stranded!!!
