“Friendly helpful people who provide furniture to those those who have a place to put it and no way to buy it. It's neighbors helping neighbors who get to choose what they like. St. Louis ethical society bought dressers from Ikea and came to put it together in the very clean workshop. Warehouse. People were friendly and helpful! Highly recommend it”
“This is my go to book store for all the children in my life. I love that the bookstore is black owned and most of their books are by black authors. Their shipping is wicked fast. Their prices are extremely resonante. They have a loyal customer!”
“It's almost a museum brings me back to my scouting days, anything you might need for scouting is there. A lady sews on patches once a month who is located in the store. Interesting place to visit. Very helpful workers. I took old American flags there to be recycled.”
“I've taken an injured bird here and my heart felt better. Later I received notification of the birds injury/illness and it's release. My heart was happy.”
“I came here as part of a film production being shot in this facility. The variety of rooms and facilities in the building was perfect, and allowed us to film many scenes that looked like different locations. But the real highlight of the experience was Brian, the building manager. He was assigned to assist us throughout the day, but spent most of that time entertaining a young child we had tagging along with us, (as her dad was the star of the film). After six hours on set, the young lady was quite bored, and quite sick of me telling her to be quiet on set. Brian was a lifesaver. He took us on a tour of the building, including the clown room, which was so fun for her (and me), and he kept her entertained with stories about the gentlemen in the photographs around the building, and the different memorabilia and interesting artifacts around the place. Brian seriously saved the day and made my job so much easier. The Shriners are lucky to have Brian managing their facilities—thank you Brian!”
“First time going 2 weeks ago. Took my dog records, filled out some paperwork and great staff, kind , friendly professional staff. A wonderful outlet if you're on hard times and have limited income.”
“We have been going here for many years & the fish is always amazing. The sides are also very good. The workers are friendly & we love sitting on the covered deck (at least when it's not 100 outside.)”
“Our visit to Craft Alliance was phenomenal! Grace and her team were so kind, helpful, and provided excellent service. This was the perfect place to have a team building event. Grateful for the space and time that was created for our group of teachers to spent time creating ceramic mugs- because what's one more mug! We can't wait to sip our coffee out of 'em soon!”
“They have a wide selection of very good clothes! As well as different promotions, most of the women were kind and eager to help!
They had two racks worth of 1$ items! And a 50% off rack! Also every Thursday, if you make a 10 dollar purchase (excluding discounted items) you can spin a wheel at any counter and get an additional discount.
However, the woman at the jewelry counter was not very kind.. it was difficult to tell if there was a specific section for earrings besides what was on the rotator displays. When asked about this, she had an attitude and her demeanor was not very friendly :( as a first time customer this can be a bit discouraging otherwise an amazing store!!”
“I got questions I've had for the past decade answered in a very supportive, caring, enjoyable environment. Highly recommend this institution to anyone who has visual impairments.”
“This is our second stay at Haven House, the first for us at the new facility. I'm absolutely floored by the warm greeting and tour we recieved from Tim (I think that's his name). The facility is impressive with multiple family and children's areas, hot meals served during your stay, and free snacks/drinks for guests. We were so absolutely stressed about our sons surgery and staying so far from home. But around every turn in this facility is a reminder that there is a whole staff of people to support us and make us as comfortable as possible. I couldn't be more thankful that this facility exists.”

“Duo is absolutely incredible! James is by far the best trainer I have ever worked with, and has taught our whole family so much about dog behavior and positive reinforcement which has set us up for success with all four of our dogs. We went through Touch Therapy training as well as basic obedience class, both of which were really educational and productive experiences. We have completed obedience at other organizations and it just does not compare - James has been very good about meeting our dogs’ individual needs and troubleshooting specific problems with us. We love being a Touch Therapy team and commend Duo for all the good they are contributing to the world with their trained service dogs as well as touch teams and well-trained companion animals. Excellent organization!”

“I feel impressed with the wonderful work well done, I was told every achievement begins with a decision to try, I was a victim of scam but I got convinced by the right person of which I gave in a try of $300 investment and I got a profit of $2100 in seven days. Thank you Jenifer smith for the kind of smile you put on my face.”

“This is an awesome organization. My child was having trouble with math and hated it. Kevin, which is a volunteer has not only helped my child understand math, but now he enjoys the subject. The quality tutoring the volunteers provide is remarkable and the cost is very affordable. If you have a child that needs help in any subject, I recommend Stomp the World. I love the work this organization does.”
“I was honored to be invited to perform a piano program at the Monday Club of Webster Groves recently. It was a great experience for me. Their facility is fantastic with not one, but two very well maintained Steinway grand pianos. The performance space was spacious and comfortable. Hats off to these ladies who are keeping this organization with a greater than 100 year history alive and well!”
“I truly enjoy the ymca and this location in particular. There is a strong sense of community here. My frustration is not getting into the classes. Body pump will fill up 5 minutes after opening. I am usually at work during this time making it difficult to sign up on time. This issue is not specific to this location and I would be happy to use the old weights if there was more space. It feels great to get into a routine and wish it was not difficult to get into the class. The y, especially South City, has high quality classes and is really a great place to be.”
“The employees are the best part of this Y. They are always so friendly and helpful. The gym is a little small but very clean and the workout studio is so big and has so much good equipment”
“Had trouble trying to donate on line however I live close by. I decided to visit instead. Very friendly and helpful. I'm glad I went. There was even an article on the organization in a free weekly newspaper this week. I learned something new.”
“The Junior League of St. Louis has been a welcoming community helping me reconnect after seven years away. I appreciate the ability to give back, develop as a leader and be a force for good.”
