This little boutique is really cute and amazing for gifts, the lady that works there everyday is super sweet, and their cinnamon rolls are FABULOUS!!

The Junior League does good work but the person working there didn't look up when I entered and only said a grudging "thanks" when I left. No "can I help u out find something" or "looking for a gift today?" Rude.

The junior league of saint louis is a mean girls club. Under the guise of helping poor women and children, they treat some members as less than. There is a scale of worth there. The longer time members get all the good volunteer shifts. If you have an issue, there's no one to go to. If you're not one of the "popular" members, you are treated like you don't matter. Everyone is fake. They made up a lie about me and kicked me out because of it so I paid $250 to work for THEM one day. I've contacted two presidents directly and never heard back. I had $3k of Lilly Pulitzer dresses stolen from there and they refused to repay me in any way saying they were a donation. They were not; I left them for a friend to borrow including the dress I got engaged in. You'll have a great time if you're in the popular clique, otherwise you pay $250 and work and work and go to meeting after meeting without an ounce of gratitude. Catty. That's what I will say. The pictures are the reason I was "terminated" all lies. The junior league of St. Louis probably has a burn book. Don't join. Volunteer with hospice or something where you're not smothered in meetings and your volunteer work doesn't involve stuffing junk mail envelopes.
