Kaldis in Kirkwood is my go to for fresh delicious food. I typically order the Greek Salad which is fresh mixed greens, chickpeas, chicken , Kalamata , cucumbers, pickled peppers and more , it’s healthy and fantastic! It’s alwsys a little different every time (ingredient ratio wise) , but that is ok. And I am able to request less of or more of certain ingredients to accommodate my low carb diet which is a bonus!Their Cobb Salad ... also fantastic. The hummus board, and the black bean burrito.. yummy.,The burrito will serve two. I wish they offered a truly LARGE drink cup to go. With ice and my favorite tea, it’s a few slurps and it’s gone kinda moment. ☹️Vegetarian options: They have a handful of vegan options!

This is one of the best coffee places. When COVID hit, this place obeyed the rules. While other places failed, this place set the tables up to where they are within the safety rules when it comes to the ugly pandemic. Thanks to Metro's new Via Metro STL van service, now more than ever, it has been even easier for a 60-year-old man to work at this coffee place thanks to two Metro St. Louis van services. This place is also served by MetroBus route 49 and Metro Call-a-Ride.

I love Kaldi’s. This is probably my favorite location because of how big and spacious it is. There is always a place to sit. Kaldi’s coffee is consistently good and probably one of my favorite coffee brands.

It was crowded and hard to find a seat with my friend. But eventually we did. That would be my only downside. Otherwise the food was good and the server brought the food over which was neat and not what I’ve experienced at other cafes. They also had hot chocolate with almond milk for those who are lactose intolerant.Vegetarian options: Egg Bagel, zucchini bread, Egg biscuit, breakfast rollDietary restrictions: Lactose intolerance

Popped up to Kaldi's today to meet up with a colleague I hadn't seen in ages. I thought this would be the perfect place to meet. I was greeted as soon as I came in, and ordered my coffee and breakfast sandwich. The coffee was ready immediately and my sandwich was brought to my table fairly quickly. I forgot to ask for water, which was fine, because there's a tap and plastic cups on the condiment station, which is a great touch! Even on a workday, they still did a pretty brisk business, which was great to see. (It gets packed on the weekends, but there was still empty seats today on a Thursday) The bakery items looked good, too. I love this place.

Kids making the espresso drinks have zero sense of urgency. They should be trained to stay on point and serve the product as quickly as possible. It seems joking around and flirting take top priority.

Service was quick and so polite! Atmosphere was great for those working alone, and it was quiet enough that I could have a conversation with a business partner without having to yell or feel like everyone was listening in. Highly recommend this place!

The breakfast burrito needs to be reimagined. Its current form is a mix of sweet potatoes, cheese, an orange wedge, and sausage - just doesn't mix well. Would suggest better defining the approach - either go all in on savory or all in on sweet; straddling the two isn't working well.

This location was once a better environment as a coffee shop. I stopped coming here after they started closing at 4 PM, after they got rid of the 1 or 2 decent items on their menu. I decided to come back and try it again, and it's 58F outside, and their thermostat is set to 68F, the A/C is absolutely blasting, people are sitting around wearing winter coats (and saying nothing about it, and shouldn't have to). Perhaps that's how staff exterminated the fruit flies buzzing around the fresh water tap the last time I was here. I'm leaving and not planning to come back. If/when Kirkwood ever gets a legit coffee shop, the captive audience here will follow.
