We had Matt as our second sales manager who we very much enjoyed working with and he took good care of us. Eric the general manager was willing to work with us and helped with my unique situation. Tyler showed us the car and was friendly and willing to come in on his day off to help us out.

Excellent job getting my car repaired at Suntrup. Chad was very professional and timely with his communication with me about how the repair process was progressing. The receptionist and cashier were likewise very courteous and professional. Excellent service all the way around and I’m happy to leave Suntrup Ford a 5 Star review.

Dropped my car off for a week to complete a recall repair, oil change, tire rotation and "multi-point inspection". First, while it was understood it would be all completed by the time I was back in town 7 days later (it was) I never received any communication confirming completion. Oh well. When I picked up my car immediately there was a tire pressure alert on my dash. Immediately brought to service advisor's attention. What kind of inspection omits looking at the dash warning lights? "uhhh...ooops" and a porter came to evidently just put some air in the tire. About 8 days later tire pressure warning comes back on. I put air in twice in less than 120 miles until I brought it back this week to ask that they check the tire. Explained the situation and my presumptions that a car without tire pressure issues before bring in for service and then had issues immediately upon pick up it was likely something they caused. Service advisors couldn't follow that logic path and insinuated the tire pressure alert was just their commonly poor workmanship and that after I took the car, I must have picked up a puncture. Unwilling to argue with imbeciles I paid for the tire fix (knock on wood), which as I learned for the second time will always be higher than what they quote because of a general 25% increase for "shop stuff." I asked what they found and fixed. They said the tech had left for the day and someone would follow up with me the next day. Impressively someone did follow up and shared that there was no puncture, but rather an issue with the valve stem. Which I would argue (but didn't because me + logic vs. money hungry morons is a losing battle) only makes the likelihood of their creating the issue even more obvious (during the "inspection" or "tire-rotation"), but clearly I'm the only one that can see that. I wouldn't trust service work to be completed correctly, I wouldn't trust quoted prices to prove true and I wouldn't trust generally good faith dealing with customers. Suntrup Ford service seems to further the negative stereotype of car repair shops and the hostage like feeling that once they have your car you aren't going to escape until you've paid double what you expected. I was hoping to have found a more convenient dealership for service, but clearly did not. Sunset Ford is worth the few minutes further drive south to avoid any dealings here.

Financed what I thought was a decent 2014 Ford Escape in August 2022, to replace my vehicle that was totaled in a non at fault accident, so I was kinda in rush to get a vehicle to be able to keep my job. During the test drive, the vehicle initially sounded fine, the oil light was on but they were in the process of fixing the oil leak. Got approved for the car, then here comes the list of issues. 1st issue, a month later, the ac stopped blowing through the vents, had to pay over $500 to get it repaired as it was not covered in the warranty.2. Started hearing squeaks, noises, rattling, grinding not too long after this (i am not heavy on the breaks, nor am I one of those drivers that does not care about my vehicle, my life and other's people lives and their vehicles, i try to drive a safe as possible) Michael (which i believe is no longer at the Kirkwood location) in service was always nice to me, but as many times as I have brought the vehicle back to suntrup, they definitely could've probably seen what was going on under the hood) and I found out that Dobbs works with my then warranty (and now I currently have no warranty, they advertise for "lifetime warranty" though, because I'm over the milage in my contract). Went to dobbs to get an diagnosis, and guess what, over $1900 in SUSPENSION WORK, and the tires were bad, luckily I only had to pay the deductible which was $200, i was having issues getting to work so that I could pay for this!!!! And when i mentioned to Tiffany about these noises, my saleslady, her response was literally "well maybe it'll squeak itself out"?? Got the work done, and 3...still hear noises!!!!!! I bought brand new back breaks and rotors, had them installed, and I wasn't hearing as much as the horrible noises I was hearing by this time, i mean i was scared to break, or scared if i needed to suddenly do a hard break because the vehicle sounded so bad. My dad recently paid for front breaks, and I can't even list everything off the top of my head that has been going on because I want to get rid of the vehicle but I still owe around $10K. 4. Got the front and back shocks/struts replaced at Meineke, another $1600 worth of work (along with going back and forth with them about how they didn't initially diagnose my vehicle, they essentially went on my word that the shocks and struts were the problem, then told me that my vehicle needed a control arm, another almost $360!!!!!!!) because you can LITERALLY hear and feel bumps or me trying to avoid hitting potholes, etc, then again, STILL HEAR SQUEAKS AND NOISES. My dad took my vehicle TODAY(10/24/2023) to AAMCO for diagnostic testing and guess what, more issues, something about parts are dragging causes the transmission to move excessively, sway pads (i have no clue what any of this is) and other issues that will have to be paid out of POCKET!!!!!! I am beyond furious and disappointed at all these issues, i only work part time because of my health and I simply can't afford to keep paying more into the car more than me trying to pay off the car sooner as I didn't want a long auto loan. I simply do not want this vehicle anymore.

Love the Bronco I bought here and the trade-in $$ they offered for my previous car! Once you get your car in the shop they are quick and efficient when it comes to an oil change or other basic maintenance. It just takes awhile to get someone on the phone to schedule an appointment and the online booking never seems to work.

I’ve been impressed with the level of service. My last visit, I had a question regarding the bill. They were extremely understanding and walked me through their reasoning. It was a great experience as they truly listened and understood my question and worked with me towards a mutual agreement. That’s a win win for all parties!!!

Received a letter from Ford about an issue with my Ford Focus' transmission (TCM). My car only has 35,000 miles. Called and was told by the rep that my car's long-standing issue sounded exactly like the TCM. She reserved a rental for me. Took the car in. Got a call later that it's not the TCM, but the clutch. They can fix it for $3500. Ahem...So to get my car back--the one Ford recommended I bring in--I had to pay $250.00 for the "diagnosis" and $48 for the rental. Took my car to a local mechanic, who confirmed what I'm now reading all over online, which is that Ford Focuses have had ongoing clutch issues, that Ford is well aware of the problems, and that Ford refuses to do anything about it and too bad for the customers. No one at Suntrup mentioned any of this, of course. My husband and I purchased 3 new Fords over the last 20 or so years. Ford used to be a good company who stood by their vehicles. Clearly that's no longer the case. I feel scammed. Shame on the lot of them.

A couple of weeks ago we bought a F-150 truck from Tyler. He was the best salesman we have ever had at a dealership. We wanted to test drive a few models. He was incredibly patient and genuinely listened to our needs. We weren't ready to purchase on our first visit and we appreciated how he didn't try to sell us on anything that day. He let us leave the lot without any pressure. We returned a few days later and Tyler helped us find the exact vehicle we wanted, which he transferred in from another location with ease. Before and after our purchase we had a few questions and he was always available via text. If you're in the market for a Ford, I highly recommend asking for Tyler at Kirkwood.

My wife and I were initially going to shop around at a few dealerships for a new vehicle. However, once we met Tyler in Sales, we knew we'd be purchasing from Suntrup Ford in Kirkwood. We were a little picky with our needs, but Tyler had no problem accommodating multiple test drives and talking over which features would be the best for us. The whole experience felt like buying a car from a friend -- a professional friend! Thanks, Tyler!

Suntrup offered free repair at my home for a recall on our Ford Escape. Scheduled in 2 days and it only took about 20 min. Very convenient and the 2 guys were very nice and professional.

Great experience. Dealer reached out to me regarding a recall for a part that needed to be replaced. Scheduled the service and they actually came to my house and replaced the part on my Ford Expedition while it was in my garage. Extremely easy process.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and updated building and facilities. Went for The Works maintenance package and they also addressed a manufacturer recall issue, it took just a little while longer, but they got it out of my hair.I actually bought from another dealer, but they are much closer to home, and on my route to work and back. They’re a solid operation, and represent the Ford brand well.
