This message is for the Kirkwood Store on Manchester. We would give this store 5 stars except for one problem. Truth be told, this was our favorite store because we love Sky and her gorgeous Newfy named Bear. Even though the Olive store is closer, we always use to go to the Kirkwood store to see Bear and have him visit with our dogs. But now Bear is never there anymore apparently because he accidentally flipped some saliva on a customer. 98% of the people who go to your store love dogs and expect to come in contact with dogs at the store!! If a dog slobbering on you bothers you then you probably should not own a dog. It is going to happen! Almost all dog owners want to see other dogs for their dogs to socialize with! So please bring back Bear to your store. I guarantee he is attracting 100 more patrons to your store for every 1 that you might lose. Newfoundlands like Bear are rare to see these days and such a fun sight to see when picking up dog food and treats. Bear is such a gentle and loving dog. I can’t imagine an owner or manager telling their employee that they can’t bring their dog to work because he slobbered on a customer. The customer wasn’t bitten or growled at. He drooled and wore a bib which telling customers he did. The lady overeacted and complained to management. She needs to be more tolerant just like we all need to tolerate dogs of all shapes and sizes. What about her 10 lb dog that growls and yips at all the other dogs and customers. Should she be banned? In this case, the customer wasn’t right. Now poor Bear has to sit at home while Sky educates other dog owners about pet nutrition, toys… As we have seen by all the help wanted signs around town, its hard to find good employees, so when you have a gem like Sky working tirelessly, at least let her bring her beautiful Newfy to work. Isn’t it a pet store after all ? Don’t punish the gentle giant.

I've recently moved to the area and needed to find a quality groomer for my miniature poodle. I called a highly recommended groomer in the area who aren't taking on new clients and they referred me to Treats Unleashed. I can't say enough about them. From the welcome postcard I received prior to the appointment that included discount coupons to the complimentary treats following his "spa day". Everyone is so kind and welcoming I will absolutely be back and encourage others to check them out. Thank you everyone at Treats Unleashed!!

My pup was bathed by Grace on Monday 7/17, today I noticed something white sticking out of his ear and I found this decent sized cotton ball shoved into his ear canal. I had no idea this was there and I am so thankful I caught it. I will not be taking Fred back here.

I brought my small Havapoo here for a haircut because my regular groomer was very booked up. A friend recommended me to Treats Unleashed but I'm not sure which location she uses. For a $75 haircut I was super disappointed with my experience. There was really no "consultation" about what kind of haircut I wanted for the dog, etc and you would definitely expect that for a first time customer. I did voice that i wanted a teddy bear cut on the head and to leave the ears longer. When I picked up my dog she was basically shaved down to nothing on her entire body except her tail. I know she was a little matted in a couple places but there was no reason for her head or ears to be cut that way after I made a specific request and the groomer mentioned no concerns with my request. However, what really made my experience poor was the fact that my dog had a pretty good size cut under her leg and no one mentioned it to me when I picked her up. I'm a realistic person, I know that dogs don't sit still during grooming appointments and I also understand that accidents happen but this was a pretty good size chunk out of her skin and I find it ridiculous that no one said "Hey she does have a cut under her leg and we did clean it up but wanted to let you know so you can keep an eye on it" To me that feels really shady. My dogs $75 haircut was honestly a mess - she had so many random stray long hairs that I had to spend 10 minutes trimming her when we got home. I have had positive experiences with Treats Unleashed when buying treats in the past but I will definitely not be back for any grooming services.

The staff is wonderful! They are so patient with our dog Rosie, who is very nervous with grooming. And the fresh baked treats are always her favorite!

I always bring my dog here to get him some treats or to use their self service bath. We’ve always been treated nicely and all the staff love my dog and he loves them. That is til today. I brought him in to give him a bath. My friend comes with me to help out. My dog is big. When I was done bathing him, I started to cut his nails. ( I’m a former groomer) my dog has always hated having his nails cut and lets me know. That’s where my friend comes in to help hold him. Today he wasn’t too happy and was showing me his teeth and putting his mouth on my hand. I wasn’t letting him get away with it. Then one of the workers came in. One I had never seen before. She was not at all nice and told me cutting nails wasn’t allowed. I asked why, she said policy and then she left. I was annoyed and told my friend I had cut them there before and they never stopped me. When we came out of the room, that employee didn’t say one word to us nor did she even acknowledge us. On our way home my friend looked on your website and tried to find where it says that we can’t cut our own dogs nails. She found nothing. I wish I knew this employees name cause they were very rude.

Emily at the Kirkwood location was great with Teddy Cha Cha and Johnny. They came out, after seeing her, so proudly and tails a waggin!! Thank you Emily for a great experience! And thanks to the front desk staff for their help, kindness and knowledge!

I believe I would like to transfer her to the Kirkwood branch if that is possible. She looked beautiful and I was very pleased and she came back to me so relaxed.

Love this store and this particular location! Was able to try a few new items that I didn't see at a different location. Very helpful associate who was extremely knowledgeable and friendly as well. Will be back!

The staff is so friendly, helpful, and genuinely cares about your pets like they are their own. I have taken all of my dogs here to get groomed, but love that they offer homemade treat and are so knowledgable about different foods and ingredients. I was feeling my dog a "grocery store brand" that he stopped eating. I came in looking for a food he would actually eat and that would be good for him, and felt like the staff worked within my budget, explained all of the options for me, and didn't try to upsell me or make me feel badly for getting a lower cost food. I honestly believe they wouldn't offer a brand unless they had done the research. I prefer to shop here instead of getting food delivered (as much as I love Chewey) to support a local business pumping genuine care back into the community. *Note this sounds like it could be over-puffery and I assure you, it's not. I just love my dog THAT much.
