This pharmacy is great. Their phone tree works well and they always have my prescriptions ready on time. Staff is friendly and the pharmacist doesn't make me wait to answer questions and give me new prescriptions. They also went the extra mile to work out getting my insurance card to work when another pharmacy just said it wouldn't go through and I had to pay cash. I am not a regular Walmart shopper but I really like this pharmacy.

The Senior Pharmacists on duty stopped a Jr Pharmacist from helping me resolve a frustrating issue. The Jr Pharmacist asked if I needed her to call my insurance company to help get things resolved. I agreed to the associates offer. As the Jr Pharmacist started to initiate the call, the Senior Pharmacist looked up at the Jr Pharmacist and instructed her associate to end the call abruptly. She said to the fellow co worker “no…..let him call.” I work in customer service as well. I go over and beyond and out of my way to ensure every customer is well taken care of and then some. Empathy patience, and understanding is the key to great customer satisfaction. However, I was bombarded with an astonishing lack of discernment. Please teach your Senior Pharmacist to learn how to turn frowns upside down. Please and thanks.

Worst service from any pharmacy ever. But what should I expect, it's Walmart. They are always out of stock. And no one behind the counter seems to give a s*** about anything. Which is understandable, it's Walmart.

My doctor prescribes a "not so popular" medicine for my condition that I usually buy at their office. They ran out. My pharmacy doesn't ever get this medication. I called around but the Walmart-Kirkwood pharmacy was the only one that went the extra step. After they learned my insurance wouldn't pay for a 3 mos prescription from my doctor. The Pharmacy tech ran it through my insurance as a monthly prescription and they would pay. It was significantly less than what I paid at doctor's office by 85%. This is the busiest Walmart -Kirkwood pharmacy I've ever been to (and I've even been to out of state ones). I appreciate how they went out of there way to get me my medication and they were kind about it.

I visit the Kirkwood store about twice a month. Yesterday I was checked out by Vienne. She was very professional, courteous, and friendly. Vienna is special. Great asset to this Walmart.

If I could give negative stars, I would. The employees are unbelievably rude to their customers and need proper home training. Walmart should be embarrassed to have these kind of employees representing their company. I won't be back.

Where to begin? First have been unable to refill online since they switched to pin. And everyone I talk to at Wal-Mart says it's not their problem. Even after entering script # would not allow refill. And now, yesterday, Shrewsbury was out of the antibiotic I needed for my friend. Kirkwood had it but was closed. I told Shrewsbury to transfer order to Kirkwood and I would pickup today. Arrived at Kirkwood 20 minutes after opening and was told they were filling, it would be ready in 20 minutes. Okay...fine. Did some shopping, went back to pharmacy, got in huge line (one person working), waited 10 minutes only to find out my friends insurance info wasn't on file. Are you serious? I don't blame the pharmacist, I blame the Wal-Mart system. This is 2018, your computers can't communicate with each other? Their system is AWFUL!!!!

This pharmacy is horrible. I have constant problems whenever I try to get anything refilled. Last week I called in a refill and got a notification yesterday saying that it was ready. Went to pick it up today, and they told me not only was my refill not available, but that they had no record of my even having this prescription. Like, what the heck?? They said I hadn't received this medication in over a year, but I'm staring at the bottle right now that says I had it refilled at this Walmart three months ago. And if they really didn't have my prescription in their records, why did they accept my refill last week and why was I notified yesterday that it was ready? I am beyond furious. This place is entirely incompetent.
